This is the perfect blend and soooooo good!

I’ve been drinking Smith teas for a few months, and although the British Brunch blend, an Assam based variety, is an excellent black tea, I tried Portland Breakfast and was completely captivated by it, and it’s perhaps the best black tea I’ve ever had. Superb flavor and a strong black tea, this variety is beyond superb and into the sublime. It’s an incredible blend, and I believe that all English breakfast tea lovers would enjoy it. I can usually detect my favorite blends by the smell of the tea when brewing it, but this blend is unusual in that the scent didn’t give itself away, so I was wary; but from the first sip I was in tea heaven. All those to whom I’ve given the tea found it special as well. I’ve now been trying the other blends of Smith teas, including Bungalow (a Darjeeling based blend), and their excellent peppermint tea, and clearly these are well crafted tea blends. We all have different senses of smell and taste, but for those seeking a higher plane of tea sipping should consider Smith teas worthy of sampling. Portland Breakfast, by the way, is a pu-erh based tea, my first foray into that type, and I was elated to finally sample such a blend.

The flavor and quality of this tea is so good. Also, love that the sachets are compostable and free of plastic, such a plus!

This tea is very good, especially if you like a robust tea with a bit of a smoky flavor. I find that I actually enjoy the tea more as I get further into the cup. It seems to mellow a bit. But I would definitely buy it again.

Flavorful tea! Cute packaging! It’s a little expensive considering there’s only 15 sachets in the box so it’s not my everyday tea, but it’s a great tea when I’m feeling like a small treat

I like strong tea. I've tried English, Irish, Scottish, Assam, various Chineese and American teas, but this is my favorite. Great taste, not bitter even after 10-15 minutes of steeping (did I mention I like strong tea).
