I've tried several bronzing creams and the color is usually off for me, I'm very white and pale and they generally have an orange undertone. They usually also transfer easily to surfaces. This one was the first with a matte finish that I tried and I loved it!! It dries fast so I recommend applying by sections, and with a body brush for the best and more even application. The color and coverage are also buildable and a little does go a long way, you don't need a lot of product to give you color. It's not 100% transferproof, but from all the products I've tried this one transferred the least, very little. And it only came off after I showered. Oh! And I added a little bit of body highlighter on my arms once it had dried down and it didn't streak or get blotchy, 20/10 I will repurchase forever.

I absolutely love this stuff! It does not rub off on clothes and rubs in smooth. It will last until you wash it off. It doesn’t come off when I sweat or if splashed with water. It will need to be washed off. You can apply additional coats for a darker shade too. This stuff has saved me quite a few times. Buy it!

I decided to give this a try. Although it does give you a nice tan for a day, it transfers to clothes and sheets and whatever else VERY easily. The whole “it won’t come off until you shower and wash it off with soap and water” just isn’t true. I had this one day tan on my shorts, bra, shirt, and it even got on my underwear. Yes, I waited until the tan was fully dry before I got dressed. I use it now for those in between days for when your tanner starts to fade and gets patchy. It actually works really well that way. I do love the color. It matched perfectly with the Bondi sands technocolor magenta actually. My only complaint is that it does transfer to clothes and sheets. With that in mind, be mindful of what clothes you decide to wear. It washes out of your clothes fine. It transferred to my white shorts and it washed out fine in the washer.

I used this for a wedding and it was wonderful! Great coverage, didn’t smear at all on clothing thes. I applied it an hour before. Got dressed. Also didn’t sweat off during hours of dancing! I am a light skin woman, and I got the medium Shae. Looks dark going on but blends beautifully! Use a tanning brush to blend.

I purchased this for another reason thinking that it would be a little more dense and cover-up, brown spots and scars.even though it was not affected for that it does very well just for quick color. I mix it with body lotion. You can apply on its own for a bit darker color. Overall I think it’s a really good product for quick and easy and it rinses off in the shower.

Giving this 3 stars because it’s a beautiful bronze tan and a great option for a quick tan. However, it transfers extremely easily and onto whatever I’m wearing. I’ve had jeans, jeans shorts, black skirts, all sorts of shirts become stained due to the tan rubbing off. Even if you let it dry for an hour it still transfers onto clothing. Don’t bother using this if you’re going to be in the sun or warm weather. The sweat will make it come off. It is also blotchy if you don’t moisturize or exfoliate so maybe apply this mixed with lotion. It also leaks easily as well.

Ok so I’m a pasty white person. I like to be tan, but I’ve given up the cancerous tanning beds and I cannot stand the smell or the maintenance of self tanners. This stuff is AMAZING. Where has it been my whole life?! It dries very, very quickly but still allows time for even application, it looks amazing, and it has NO SMELL. It’s literally a dream and I will use it forever. If you don’t mind that it washes off in the shower, buy it. Seriously, buy it now.

So, the color is ideal. But that does NOT matter bc at this moment I am looking at splotchy brown spots after ONLY ONE HOUR. That's really bad, even non waterproof stuff lasts longer. I'm not sure why it works like an eyeshadow (like something that you wipe across the eye and is gone not much later) than a cream lotion like other brands. It's quite disappointing. The whole point is for this kind of thing to not come right off.

Best instant tan I’ve used! Was so sceptical about this as I HATE fake tan. However, since falling pregnant, I hate being pale even more 😂🙈 I usually have regular spray tan’s fortnightly as often as poss, but due to washing my hands and face a lot, I find that my spray tan comes off faster in those places. This is an amazing product for topping up in places I need. I was super shocked at the coverage as well!! It’s amazing and actually like a foundation for your skin! Makes mornings a lot faster as I only need to apply this. I’ve missed my usual tan this week which would usually be a huge pain! But knowing I have this to use on visible areas if I need to go out- makes life easier haha. A trick I’ve started to do for ease is to use my hands when doing my face, I put my moisturiser in all the places I usually would, add bits of tan to them same area then work them into the face together- outwards circular motions. It produces a lovely finish. I’ll use a make up brush around the hairline/ ears/ jawline and neck to blend out too. Another tip is to use a make up brush for application on the hands. I also make sure I put a little bit of moisturiser on them too (especially the dry areas) let dry, then work the tan into the hands and fingers/ in between. Wash your hands after but only applying soap to the palms to get rid of any build up on the hands from doing the face (or you can do this before you start on the hands) and it shouldn’t come off the tops too much at all as long as you pat dry the palms after 😃 Hope it helps someone as it took me a little while to get to grips with it being so intense (but in a good way!) Will definitely be using throughout and maybe even after my pregnancy- It’s become one of my make up bag essentials for that nice summer tan. The shimmer is good too, but defo not as much coverage and more subtle, with hints of a glow so you can pick which suits the look you’re going for 😊

Was actually pleasantly surprised by this. I’ve never really used instant tans as I always feel like I’m wearing make up that’s going to rub on anything I touch. I have always used self tans that wash off but due to having laser hair removal treatment I can’t use that currently, so decided to try this for odd occasions where I want to be a bit more tan. When you put it on its thick and brown and feels like you’re putting foundation on - but it totally dries and goes on really well! Would advise a good mitt - the bondi sands double sided one is perfect as it’s nice and soft. Smells good too, not like fake tan really. A little transfer onto sheets and clothes but to be expected and not as much as I’d thought. The matte finish is definitely my fave and think it’s the most natural!
