No, absolutely not. 120 volts at 11.25 amps is 1,350 watts, that's only 1,050 watts more than the 300 watts this unit is rated for.

Rule of thumb for constant use and keeping things safe with as long as possible lifespan is about 66% of what it's designed for. This gives headroom to the voltage rails and tolerances. When electric components are used at their full capacity they heat up. So run at lower ratings to keep things cool without the fan having to overwork itself (which is just another potential failure point).

So for something rated at 300W I would try to keep continuous wattage at 200W. You're always going to have peaks and spikes, voltage drops and resistance, etc that will eat up the head room regardless so keeping continuous wattage usage lower at around 66% is ideal for pretty much all power supply needs including power amplifiers.

So whatever it is that you need to run constantly, take the continuous wattage and multiply it x1.5 and look for an inverter that has that continuous wattage rating to keep things longterm safe.

Does it automatically shut off if the battery drops bellow a voltage?

The reason I am here today looking at reviews and deciding on a new inverter is because mine has stopped working after the battery dropped. I connected it to a different battery and it works for a couple of minutes and then 120V drops for a few seconds, in a repeating cycle. So my unit has failed after battery voltage ran out.
