These pants are great. I ski with these pants and they fit just right and are very comfortable and warm.

...a stiff wind will drain the heat from your legs where the material touches you.I bought these along with a matching Columbia top to wear as cold weather insulation when riding my motorcycle.On short commutes I ride using a leather coat and jeans until it gets below 55 degrees or so and then I've been using an insulating pullover around my chest and leather chaps for my legs. Adding the Columbia top, in place of the insulation, under the jacket keeps my chest and torso toasty down into the 30s F but my chaps just plaster against my shins and thighs and sink the heat right out. Putting these pants on (minus the chaps) really lessens that amount of heat loss but it can still be chilly. Keeping the wind off by using the chaps on top of the pants does the trick, though. I'm satisfied with both the pants and the pullover top but they're not the sole solution.

Generalmente cuando compras marcas reconocidas los productos van a ser de calidad, en este caso es un Pantalón para esquiar de COLUMBIA, marca a la par de otras de renombre en el sector como North Face, Patagonia, etc. quede sorprendido del excelente producto que es, en ningún momento pasé frío, son impermeables y cómodos y los encontré a un excelente precio.No soy experto en el deporte del Ski, pero a mi me funcionaron a la perfección.

Too warm for minnesota except the -20 days. Needed and elastic belt to keep up with L and 36" waist. Very warm and quite bulky. Elastic cuffs are outstanding.
