Oh yeah! So much of a difference in color rendering
Perfect combination for my bmpcc 6k! If you are on the fence, GET IT! Its totally worth it! Significantly cuts IR and UV pollution.

Really truly blocks IR -- read on!
When I received this filter I was a bit skeptical about its ability to block IR. To look at it (with the naked eye) it looks almost totally clear with only a hint of blue. Here's my test and the results: I own a camera modified for IR, 720nm, done by Kolari. There is NO doubt that it is a true IR camera -- foliage is white, blue skies are dark etc. I fired up the camera and looked at a natural scene, first without the new filter. Looked normal, or as normal as IR looks. I then held the new IR/UV block filter in front of the lens and -- TOTALLY BLACK!!! Amazing. I can't stop grinning. This is a winner!

Shipping errors, delays, not worth it in the long run.
I ordered a UV IR filter, and got a UV filter. Returned. No inventory to order a replacement, no waiting list. Months+ estimated. When I ordered the same thing from another well known photo shop, also got the wrong thing, just UV filter. Then got on the phone with their manager, got a Hoya filter instead. But the filtering of the IR is poor, maybe 50% of what the filter inside the camera used to do. So waste of energy to pursue this avenue for astrophotography purposes. Also, the Sirui 75mm lens I bought to use for this filter, now almost 6 months ago (they also sent the wrong lens) doesn't focus at F1.8 infinity, it sort of does at F/16, and then, still worse than my phone. Ugh. Even when the camera has 24MPixels and the phone 12MPixels. 400 plus 200 bucks wasted. I should have gone for the $1500 astro camera.

Does NOT undo modification of removing IR filter from DSLR for astrophotography,
One review says it does, it does NOT. Landscape still has red tint that can't be totally mitigated by fixing white balance in post.

IR Cut Filter
This IR cut filter works perfectly with my RED zoom lens. An inexpensive fix to the BMPCC4K camera pollution problem.
