I have a Mossberg 500A, will this work? I see a review about a 500 says it doesn't fit

That was actually my review, which I had forgotten I put on here. I don't think it will fit in the 500a, as far as I know the only major difference between the 500 and 500a is the trigger pull. This plug is a too wide to fit into the tube hole, a thinner wooden dowel gets the job done.
