Stainless Steel Countertop Water Purifier Filter (10 Micron Carbon Block)

We are very pleased with this filter so far. Bought & installed it in a rental home we moved into & it was very easy to install. Just unscrewed/removed the existing aerator on the faucet and screwed it on (no tools needed). The flavor is fantastic and it removes all odors from our tap water. The flavor tastes alot like Aquafina water, but is not quite as filtered as reverse osmosis. Excellent for coffee, ice & drinking. The affordable price of replacement filters was a huge factor in my decision to purchase this filter over others.

We’ve had our filter for six months. Love it, change filter once and very easy to do. Compared to $1000 dollar water filters I have owned before this meets the demands and quality I was looking for. 11/2021 update; still flowing and tasting great, almost due for a 3rd filter change since I bought it. Easy filter change out.

I had my filter up and running within 5 minutes! I already had my aerator from my faucet off so this made it a little easier. I didn't need any Teflon tape for the faucet! I followed the instructions and ran the water through the filter for about 5 minutes. There is a definite difference in taste between the regular tap water and the filter water. For the price I say this is a great deal. You even get a wrench for taking the darned thing apart!

The water filter installs easily and overall is a great and practical way to get filtered water from the sink. The price is great, the design is great, it takes generic filters, I'm subtracting 1 star because I have to run the water for 5-10 minutes to remove the taste of the charcoal filter (this is with the installed filter), and it's been this way for months now. As you can imagine, this is highly impractical when I just want a glass of water, my work around is keeping 10 bottles of water and refilling them all at once and keeping them in the fridge. If I could have a clean, great tasting water on demand without waiting for the still water to drain out, then this would be a 5 star product, but for all intents and purposes, this is my favorite item I've bought for my first place.

After years of fighting my old counter top water filter. Every time I replaced the filter it always leaked. I finally found one that doesn't leak. I purchased another brand and it leaked just as bad or worse than the old one no matter how hard i tightened it. I was able to get my money back and replaced it with this Lake industries Stainless Steel filter and there were no leaks. The diverter valve didn't turn at first so I replaced it with the old one. Then I discovered I just wasn't turning it hard enough although the instructions said to pull the knob. I put the Lake Industies valve back on and it worked perfectly by turning the handle. No leaks.

Came on time, as described. High quality materials, mostly stainless steel. Water is on contact with plastic base and hose, but better quality than most countertop filters. And I love that I can by generic standard size replacemnt filrters at a low price and a variety of filter types. I highly recommend this to anyone drinking tap water that is questionable. This is a great alternative to bottled water

It is very difficult to replace filter with wrench which came with original package, it keeps slipping out, i have not gotten any change to open it yet. it should have better design on it.

Used this for a trip out of town, hooked up easy and gave us clean water for the week. Cost a lot less than buying bottled and plan to take it on our next out of town trip.
