Genius device. Bought one and tried it. It works so well we bought two more and two for the sink. It’s the only thing I’ve tried that catches all the hair before it goes down the drain well constructed looks nice. I paid $10 for it and it’s well worth the money.

This tub drain hair catcher fit perfectly. I didn’t have to use any of the adapters. It does its job while not drastically reducing the draining speed. It’s easy to discard of the hair when cleaning it. Just based on observation after removing it to clean the hair, it may catch longer hair better than shorter hair since long hair wraps around the center easier. Some short hair may get past the holes in the black barrier, but no hair catcher is 100% effective. This one works a lot better than previous ones I’ve tried. I bought the combo pack that comes with the stopper. Perfect when you want a bath. I’ll update this review if there’s any problems with durability, but so far I am extremely pleased with this product.

What a simple yet effective little gadget this is! Super easy to use and it catches every little tiny piece of hair. Haven't needed to call a drain company in over 2 years which is amazing. We just moved – left our old one at the house for the new people and bought a new one for the new house. Recommended more than almost any other product I've ever used.

I have an old tub drain when the house was built in the 1950's. it is on a spring that lets the tub open & close. I've left it out because it's a pain to keep hair from clogging. I used the silicone Shroom in the past but this one is a game changer. I clean once a week, it collects perfectly and looks nice in the tub, like it was meant to be there. No residue in the drain after I remove it. Easy to clean and the rubber stopper fits perfectly. If I need to have the tub full, I use the included stopper. I can't believe the less stress on cleaning out the tub drain which has always been my job as a lady in the house. Can't bend over anymore. I don't leave allot of review, but this one is worthy, especially if you have old brass drains. Ours is the Speakman drain from ages ago.

Love this product - it works great. I had a lot of trouble with the store though - they sent out the wrong product and then completely ignored the requests I made for rectifying the situation, which was annoying. Ultimately I ended up with the product, but it took a lot of back and forth.

I have a lot of very long hair. Which is ironic because once the hair comes out of my hair it is absolutely disgusting to me, like, setting off my gag reflex level of disgusting. (I know, I know. But I never claimed to not be weird). As anyone with a lot of long hair knows, you shed like crazy and can lose a lot of it while showering and it can lead to drain clogs. Enter the tubshroom. I knew of its existence for many years, but never took the plunge of buying it. This changed when I got my own place and would thus, be responsible for cleaning out my drains. I’ll be honest, I do my best to catch the majority of my loose hair before it gets washed down, but for the stuff I don’t / can’t, the tubshroom works AMAZINGLY. It fits perfectly in my drain and catches all the loose hairs. I do find it’s a little challenging to clean, but this is not something that I would knock a star off for. I also like the stainless steel model because it looks like it’s just part of the tub. The included drain plug is about a 3.5-4 out of 5. Better than those beige rubber stoppers which I can’t pull out due to my short nails. It stops the water from draining but doesn’t have the best seal. Works for me, but may not work as well for others. Overall, recommend this product.

Our bathtub had a chained drain plug, but we had problems with hair in the drain. When I saw this, I hoped our problems would be solved. I used a metal saw to remove the fixed drain plug. This new filter fitted perfectly and hair is now preventable and it is very easy to remove and clean. Now I can save money on cleaning of our sewer system, where the hairs clogged the filter.
