These do the job they are meant to do
If you need a telescopic sub-floor vent then these will suffice, it's a nitemare to fit them but that's not the fault of this product.. for the price they are decent value & they do the job.

Retrofitting
Bought 2 of these to retrofit for a subfloor that im planning on having insulation for. I imagine installing from the outset is much easier, I had to remove the bricks it was replacing and the two above them as the angle to get them through is a bit awkward. Took me a few hours to remove the old bricks, install these and then mortar everything back into place. It's not the prettiest of jobs as I'm a novice diy-er but it does the job, felt lots of cool air blowing through this morning after doing it yesterday. Going to install cowls over them to help reduce and water ingress.

Not much to say about it other than it does the job, it was cheap enough. Only comment really the terracotta brick is plastic, but at the price what can you expect.
