Colour:White/Inside Rose Ceiling lamp PH 5 of Ø50 in an exclusive design by Poul Henningsen, a concept imagined between 1953 and edited by the Danish house of high-end luminaires Louis Poulsen. Before the concept of the Suspension PH 5 to 3 lampshade was born, Louis Poulsen and Poul Henningsen had designed a luminaire for the Paris Universal Exhibition in 1925 and embraced the concept of reflecting shades of different sizes and positioning. Thus born in the 20s of the 20th century the aesthetic, elegant PH Suspension with glare-free lighting. A hundred years later, the Suspension PH 5 made of stretch aluminium matt finish has lost nothing of its superb and always convinces so much. The non-blinding light reflects on the aluminium walls, ensuring a soft, diffused light. The shape of the lamp shade of the PH 5 Suspension is based on an ogarithmic spiral, where the focal point of the light source is located in the center of the spiral, for cost-effective and non-glaring lighting.
