There are a lot of mixed reviews on this dress and because of that, I can't even count the number of times I added it to my cart and then clicked "save for later". I finally accepted that I'd never really know unless I gave it a go. We can't expect every garment to fit every shape perfectly.My body shape is a tough fit. I'm 5'6" with long legs (40" hips), a high waist (30") and a naturally large chest (30J)...so finding flattering tops, let alone dresses, is 99% impossible. This dress is in the 1%. I usually buy tops to accommodate my chest and have them tailored so I don't feel like a block and forego dresses altogether.Unfortunately they were sold of out the Large Navy so I took a chance and ordered the Navy in Medium. I'm glad I did. It fits marvelously! The tie is in just the right place to accentuate my hourglass shape and V neck styles are most flattering for large chests...making them appear smaller than they actually are. I like the weight of the material and it stretches enough that I don't feel like I'm going to tear the seams (particularly in the chest area). It IS however, quite revealing, so either a pin or a camisole underneath will prevent the ladies from making a public debut. I would recommend wearing a shape smoother underneath because it does show bra and panty lines and if there is backlight, it will shine through the skirt.the dress falls about 2-3 inches above my knee (standing) and rises considerably when sitting (if you don't pull down the back before you sit) so probably not the best choice for a work dress or anywhere else where one may be doing a lot of sitting. That being said, the dress is flirty but has class...Think, sexy librarian meets sailor girl.

I bought this dress for a family members funeral. I felt like I was wearing a cheap costume. The material was so cheap and thin and as I sat in the church I noticed tiny rust color dots on dress. It sticks to your body. I am very unhappy with this purchase and plan on returning!!!!

Bought 2 sizes Medium and Large. I am 5'8" and 134 LBs. This dress in Medium fits just as the picture shows. Yes, the material is thin, but not see through (of course up against the light it would be a little on the very bottom, but what material would not do that against the light that we can have a dress made out of?). The dark blue color is beautiful and has a silky shine to it, very soft and makes it nice looking. First I thought this would be the swimsuit material (which I do not prefer) or that cheap looking plastic kind that I do not prefer either. This is more of the dry fit kind of a look. I wore this dress to work and 1st time I did, I got at least 10 complements on it. I am back ordering it in 2 other colors and hoping they will look just as nice and the material will be the same. With heels this dress looks professional and with flats you can wear it anywhere.. I would recommend it to anyone.... though I have to say, if you have a little extra here and there, this dress will reveal that, as it is heavy weight and pretty form fitting. Hope this helps in your purchasing decisions.

I returned this. It was cute but there was no way I could wear it without a tank top under, which isn't my thing. If you are smaller chested, it might work ok. But otherwise, lots of cleavage.

This was an impulse buy as the price dropped to end-of-season levels and I decided I needed a new LBD for casual cocktails/happy hour meet ups. A simple dress with minimum structure and summer weight, it appeals due to stretch fit with surplice and flattering lines for a BWH 39-33-40 body and 5'11" tall. What I really luv the most is how it "flatters" my small bust (38A) so that my girls do not disappear in the surplice. It stretches and clings just enough so that I can go braless and have a look that is considered elegant and not vulgar as only a small busted girl can manage in a LBD. One of my peeves with fit-flare dresses is the waist location which tends to be too high for my shape, but not so here as I tug on the dress just once and it falls just right and I can forget about it. The lack of structure in the neck and shoulders begs for accessories up top. The "belt" sash can be tied as you like, but not removed - maybe needs a clasp?The only negative to expectations for a bargain item is that the fabric is very delicate and there are a couple of pulled threads in need of correction, but I am neither worried nor dissatisfied.Thank you Star Vixen!

I love this dress this is my third purchase; however, be careful with the sizes. I ordered a medium (I'm 5'7" 150 lbs) and it fit me snug but perfect. I also ordered a Large and I think the tag was wrong because the size difference between a medium and a large are way off. The large (said large on tag) was more like a 2x. I couldn't believe how different the sizes were from a medium to large. See pictures for proof. I'm keeping the medium because I love the dress. It's my third wrap dress purchase from Star Vixen. But be careful with the sizes. Make sure you order two different sizes to make sure they are correctly sized. I'm returning the large (which is more like a 2x)

As stated in other reviews, this dress runs kind of small. Also, it is way too short. I am only 5'2" and the dress was equivalent to a super mini (about 5" above the knee). Not suitable for work; however, the dress has a nice, classic design.

This is horrible dress! Very thin, cheap lowest grade polyester and completely see through. I am returning this immediately. Not worth 1 dollar.

It fit well and looks great.

Me gustó mucho el vestido, el diseño y color, no se arruga, está cómodo, pero se debe considerar que viene amplio.

Colour is great, fit is generally fine up top, but wowza too short. I'm 5'5 and I can only wear this for Zoom calls (or maybe with opaque tights but not the look I was going for...)

Para ser mi primera compra con Amazon y con el Vendedor he quedado muy satisfecha :)El vestido es como esperaba en el largo a la rodilla y manga 3/4,la transparencia en parte de la falda también es como suponía pero es una debe de ponerse un body en cualquier vestidola tela no se arruga por lo que es un pendiente menos y es de fácil lavadoel color es un poquito más claro que en la foto azul marino pero no importa

Muy feo, no hace forma, las mangas están enormes (anchas), la tela no me gustó.
