Finally found the best lotion for my baby's eczema after trying many!
My 4 mo son has had eczema since he was about 6 weeks old and started to have heat rash as well in the last several weeks. I have tried Mustela, Aveeno, Curel Itch Defense, Honest Company and a few more brands that has good reviews but nothing quite worked well like Weleda. I have been using Weleda for the last 3 days and my son's eczema is almost gone! He had dry patches and red rashes pretty much all over his body and he still does a little, but his skin looks better than ever since eczema started to show. Some brands worked well on eczema but they always made heat rash worse, but Weleda heals both. It is moisturizing but not sticky and little goes long way.I also bought the face cream from the same line. The face cream has ticker texture and more moisturizing than the body lotion, and works super good too. I recommend buying both.

It works!
Since we moved to a warmer climate, my 6 year old's eczema has returned with a fury. We had previously used Cetaphil with Restoraderm for years with success in the cooler climate, but lately it has not worked down here. My poor baby was so itchy and everyday I was finding a new dry patch on her. Doesn't help that it's summer and she wants to be outside, swimming and having fun. I searched for something else and stumbled upon this lotion. In less than 24 hours she had almost no itchiness and I have not found any new patches on her! It quickly cleared up her old patches. It worked so well I am buying a second to make sure I always have some on hand! And it's cheaper than the Cetaphil and CeraVe that I had also used previously. The smell is neutral but doesn't bother us. In my opinion it is a little greasy/oily feeling, but not to the point where it is unbearable or gross feeling. Very happy with this product!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this lotion!
We live in the Great Basin, where the air is a lot drier and dry skin is something I've grown accustomed to having. My 7 month old has suffered with dry, itchy skin on her tummy and on spots of her face and arms for a few months now. Her pediatrician diagnosed her with mild to severe eczema at her last visit a few weeks ago, then recommended we try CeraVe or Cetaphil. I had a few sample bottles of both from the dermatologist for my own dry hands, and tried them separately on baby's tummy itchiness.. They both increased the redness temporarily and did nothing to relieve her itchiness by the next few days of use. Exasperated, I checked out the National Eczema Association's list of baby-safe lotions they recommend, and this one caught my eye immediately. I love Weleda's Skinfood for my dry hands, and have used it for years, so I know and trust the brand. So, I gave Weleda Baby White Mallow Body Lotion a try. Nothing has worked as effectively on my daughter's dry skin than this lotion!! OVERNIGHT her tummy and face were at least 95% better! It is a fantastic product that I hope Weleda will continue to make for years to come-- it's even better on my dry hands than their Skinfood! I look forward to trying the matching Baby White Mallow face cream tomorrow on my baby girl's dry cheeks and chin-- the body lotion works well, but I'm hoping the face cream is even better!

Works great, but just one problem...
As a moisturizer, it worked great, and it didn't irritate my eczema, which is really the most important thing. The only problem is that I don't care for the smell, and the fact that the scent lingers. It isn't baby-powdery smelling, or soapy-clean smelling, or even just no smell at all. Not sure how to describe it. I tend not to use it due to the scent.

Good lotion so far
We've been using this on our 1 month old and it seems too be working well. Our baby gets patches of dry skin so we've been using this to help facilitate healing. We've not seen any irritation from the lotion. We like how mild the lotion is, no noticeable smell.

It works
Both kids have a slight case of eczema, so thought of I'd give this a try since I loved their diaper cream. This stuff works, it absorbs well into their skin and after about 2 weeks no more rough skin.

Worked Better Than Cetaphil Restoraderm
We were using Cetaphil Restoraderm on our two year old's eczema as directed by her pediatrician. I never enjoyed the smell and she would still have breakouts. Of course, I was also concerned about the safety of using it on a toddler. I decided to give Welada White Mallow a try since I love their Calendula Cream. It's worked much better for her than the Cetaphil. The cream is a great consistency, not too thick. And it smells very neutral. Plus, it's been Awarded the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance. I'm extremely pleased with the results and plan to use this on her skin moving forward.

NOT FOR THIS BABY!!!
If only I could give zero stars! I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. This lotion made my baby girl itch way worse than she already was. And it made her break out in a rash where there were no rashes before. It may work for some babies but not for mine. Sorry for the bad review but I have to be honest. Speaking of Honest, they have an ezcema cream that works much better for my little sweet girl. It's takes a couple of minutes to activate but it allows her to sleep a little better at night and not itch so much during the day. Good luck to all the parents who are searching for a remedy for their babies. It's truly a trial and error situation.
