WOW Skin Science Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo 16.9 oz

I’ve been using wow shampoo for years, and it absolutely works. Im 63 I have a full head of hair with no bald spots or thing.. A few years ago, I switched to a less expensive shampoo, and the wife noticed that My hair was getting thinner on top,. I switch back to wow and never look back. This is the only shampoo I buy….. Period

Wow. I was a skeptic. Didn’t really believe the hype but gave it a shot. Glad I did . It’s wonderful! Cleanest my hair has ever looked or felt. Love the smell! Reviews were right. They add something to make it smell wonderful. I kept smelling my hair all day. My family just laughed and my dog was like , momma, you’re embarrassing yourself! Lol. Then I watched carefully each day to see when my hair would get oily and need washed again. Usually every other day for me, most my life. Well let me tell ya partner( said in my best John Wayne voice) it was day 5. Yup, today was day 5 so I just washed it again and you guessed it, mmmmm, I’m inhaling deeply and loving it. My fur baby is just looking at me then laid down and is taking a nap. Lol Anyways, the one Con to me is the price. I feel it’s priced too high. Come on now, it’s just ACV and whatever they add to smell nice. Other than that I love it and will have to decide whether to fork over the big bucks when I run out. BUT... if I don’t have to wash as often then maybe it’s gonna be worth it 😊 At least try it. Enjoy. Oh wait!!! Forgot to tell you how awesome my hair looks too! It’s amazing how it like oks so clean, no frizziest at all, just smooth as silk or is it satin? Anyways, I do love this. Just hope I can find on sale somewhere, but lol, it was cheaper here on Amazon then The WOW site. Ciao now 👋

After the shampoo I’ve used for 20 years disappeared off the shelves, I’ve been searching for a replacement. My hair is naturally curly and tends to lean toward being coarse as I’ve aged. I’ve spent about $75-$100 in the last 2 months trying different shampoos with disappointing results. Most made my hair either “wispy” and unmanageable ” and stripped of any shine or leaning toward oily after a day. After using this apple cider shampoo for two weeks, I’m sold on it as my new shampoo! I am still using a spritz of my Joico leave in conditioner to detangle after washing but my hair has regained its shine and is now manageable without being oily. The lather of this shampoo is amazing. I’ve learned that I need less than a 1/2 teaspoon of the shampoo to get a head full of rich lather. That’s nice since the shampoo is a little on the expensive side. The bottle is large so I expect one bottle to last a long time. The scent of the shampoo and my hair after washing is a fabulous apple scent and has given me no problems as someone who tends to have allergies to most perfumes and scents. I recommend giving this shampoo a try if you are looking for a natural shampoo that leaves your hair shiny.

I received this in October 2022, but just noticed it will expire in 2 months - only 7 months after I received it! It was manufactured in June 2021 and expires in May 2023. I use it only occasionally as a clarifying shampoo - it's too drying to use more than once every week or two - so I never would have ordered it if I'd known I'd get a bottle that was so old. It's a good product and I would have given it 5 stars if I'd gotten a newly-manufactured bottle, but I'm knocking off 2 stars because of the expiration date issue. I just looked at the listing and it's not returnable, so even if I'd noticed the date when I received it, I'd still have been stuck with it.

Before I start the review, here's a few things you should know about my hair: 1. I have very little damage (I haven't dyed my hair since a little over a year ago) 2. I don't use conditioners 3. It is long and on the thicker side So, let me say that I'm in love with this shampoo! Today is only the second day I've used it and it's amazing. My hair is so much softer and a bit shinier. I can run my fingers through my hair no problem. I was a little skeptical at first, like with every hair product I've ever bought, but I'm so happy I finally caved! It's not frizzy anymore and before I used this shampoo, no amount of taming helped, but now it's so soft. Now don't get me wrong, it's not an absolute miracle worker and it won't work for anyone. For example, I don't use conditioners in my hair because my hair would always get too oily after and I have bacne so it makes it worse. However, even without the conditioner, my hair is still so soft with this shampoo. Also, I barely have any damage in my hair (I do use a straightener to curl some of my strands in the front and to style my bangs) so my hair is pretty receptive to this shampoo. Finally, my hair doesn't get as greasy quickly anymore and that's such a plus!!!

I have been buying this every October for years now. As soon as my scalp gets itchy I run here! This shampoo is great! It leaves my hair shiny, soft, and smelling wonderful. Oh and it keeps my scalp balanced, so no dry itchiness!
