Noticed the grounding pin was loose on the 220v connector and decided to take it apart before using it and I'm glad i did.Only the hot and neutral wire are present in this adapter, THERE IS NO GROUND WIRE. This product falsely advertises as a gas range converter cord and it will work to provide 110v power but at a 40A service, very dangerous! Product claims to be a 15A outlet but there is NO 15A FUSE PRESENT. The pictures on the product page imply a 3 or 4 wire cable, and this is 2 wire.

I have a bunch of 110 welders that cannot be used on home outlet power due to the amperage draw. This adapterr holds up perfect on my 50 amp generator with all the surges in current. The adapter does not overheat, cause voltage, or current loss. Solid product!

Used for replacing electric range with gas. Much cheaper, easier, and quicker than hardwiring a 110 outlet.
