I have bought several pairs of Grisport walking boots as they are always a good fit for me - very comfortable, well made and sturdy.

I've tried these on and walked around the house with them - they certainly feel very supportive and comfortable so far. I can feel the difference the vibram soles make. They look well made and stylish enough that I'd be happy to wear them just for walking around town, not too "clumpy". However the soles look substantial enough to cope with stony paths. The true test will come when I use them for a proper walk. I'll update my review in a few weeks.

I've had these shoes for 1 month, after doing about 30miles in them I got quite a big blister, then today after the first blister healed, I have the beginnings of another. I roughly walk 30/40miles a week so needed good shoes and these had good reviews.Pic of the inside of the heel of the shoe and the old and new blisters.

Great quality shoes - uppers, soles and inside.Bought my usual shoe size - good length and plenty of toe room. Unfortunately too wide at the heel for me - feet kept rising out of the shoes when walking despite wearing proper socks. Had to return for this reason..otherwise I would have definitely kept them.

I bought these 2 months ago to replace old faithful merrells. I walk 30-35 miles a week on average. Husband has boots by Grisport that he is thoroughly pleased with.These shoes are quite stiff and unforgiving, not a significantly padded in-sole and they have not very nice hard nylon laces. They also come up a bit long size wise but good width for a medium walking sock (I bought a 39 as I am a 38.5 shoe). I will keep them and continue to hope that they become more forgiving but I am unlikely to buy again.

The real test will be on our walking holiday but on short walks brill

I have great difficulty in finding walking shoes that work for me. I need a fairly wide fit. I bought these after much research into them. I am absolutely thrilled with them. I put them on today for the first time and walked 9. 5 miles in them no problem. I would recommend them to anyone.
