Worked for about 4 months until the latch broke -- just like the original. I switched to another watch, but when I do use this one, I use a clamp with rubber pads that I picked up from Home Depot and just clamp the cradle to the back of the watch. Works fine. A little kludgy, but again, it's no longer my primary watch.

I got the Samsung Gear Live as a Google I/O giveaway. It's an amazing watch, but the original charging cradle is poorly designed and broke within a few months. In specific, the two plastic nubs that fasten the cradle to the watch snapped off. It seems to be a common issue. Given how the cradle is designed, I'm expecting to buy another one before too long.Samsung support was absolutely useless. They wanted to charge me $25.00 + shipping for the replacement. Too add insult to injury, they were very quick to blame me for damaging the product. Instead, I opted for this and it's way better. $14.99 plus Prime shipping. It works like a charm and seems better than the original cradle. Highly recommended!

I bought this product based on reviews that I had read. I received the charger a week ago and used it. Worked as anticipated however upon the fourth time charging my watch the plug pushed through the side of the charger. Charger has a rattle in it so I popped the back off to find that the metal receiver of the charger had come loose. It was held in with silicone and not repairable. Time to research another one

If you seem a bit confused about this offering as I was, relax. It is not you. Seems this listing is for every Smart Watch ever made...However, the listing is for everything other than what you receive; no bands, no multiple cradles. I added a few pictures to show what size a SM-R380 recharging unit should be and what you get (and do not get) from this offering. The YELLOW indicates what you will receive, the RED is, is, well? You will not receive any of the X's. I can only imagine they have recycled several ads and maybe ended up very confused. The BLUE is my watch model so I figured, well, my model is listed so I should at least get the charger!?!? As you can see in the two shots (millimeters and inches, and of course these are just for reference purposes only) what I received was way too small for my watch.One more thing to keep in mind that I learned after extensive research and then reordering from another supplier. YOU BOUGHT AN EXPENSIVE, SOON TO BE OBSOLETE BUT RIGHT NOW VERY COOL WATCH! Don't skimp on a replacement part. The reason is, and most don't know this, if you do not get an "OEM" part, you run the risk that it may ONLY BE A CHARGER! As just a charger for the watch, you will not be able to sync up your data and pictures. Looking thru several other listings, you will see that SYNC is not usually mentioned...please, buyer beware and I hope this helps...Oh one last more thing. If this is the size you need it did take between 2 and 3 weeks to get here from China and then the anticipation was much better than the reality for me but if you just need the charger and can wait...Finally, in closing, I gave it 2 stars because they wasted my time. (BTW that's usually when I personally write a review because I use them all the time to make decisions and when I can help someone else from wasting their time I will usually write one myself) But, it may work very well for some of the other models just not my Gear 2 R380 so no 1 STAR SCAR! Now, at this point, I have asked Amazon to help me out and will update this review after they respond because it's not a PRIME item so they had to forward my request on to the company in China..."UPDATE"Within 12 hours the company responded which is impressive. However, this was the message:"This charging cradle is fit for R350 and I just found the page shows wrong information. Thank you very much for reminding. Sorry we don't have cradle for R380. So I have refunded you..."And they did...guess I'll never get my two hours back but I hope this helps someone else...

Works as expected and good enough for a knock-off copy of OEM, but works as my travel charger & obvious fitment difference between OEM and this but MUCH better price and does work. Just requires a little more manipulating to snap onto watch back or it won't charge.

The charger holds its grip to the watch and does its job so far. The problem is that it is indeed a charger only. If you want to connect it to the computer via USB it doesn't work at all. I suppose that it provides only power connections and the data pins are not connected at all. The computer doesn't recognize it when plugged in although the watch is charged properly. If you are an Android Wear developer and need this to connect to the computer then this is definitely not your cradle.

I got this after I lost the original charger, and I'm happy to say that it works great -- probably even better than the original. Snaps on tight, and it's even got an LED light on it.

I bought three in total. Two broke very quickly and the last didn't even work. I ended up spending a few more dollars and buying a Samsung one, like I should've to begin with.
