How does this game compare to Cards Against Humanity?

The Voting Game has a very similar style of humor to Cards Against Humanity. The Voting Game finds humor in the personalities and past experiences of the players themselves, while Cards Against Humanity employs extreme things that are external to the group. I've found both to be hit party games with my friends. Both are fun with strangers as well because the results and answers can be unexpected and hilarious.

Question 2

It says 6-8 players. So does that mean you need at least 6 people to play the game?

The original game is most fun with at least 6 players, it helps maintain the anonymity of the voting process. You might be able to pull off 5 if there are a few unknowns. The maximum players is 8.I played the game a little differently because of the slightly passive aggressive/semi-offensive nature of the original game, I played by assigning the player cards to well-known characters from a TV Show such as Friends - 1. Monica, 2. Ross, 3. Chandler, 4. Joey, 5. Phoebe, 6. Rachel, 7. Gunther and 8. Mike. Then we go though the questions and vote on which character was most likely to commit the crime. This allows you to play with less than six players and gets conversation going as you defend your vote. You do have to pick a TV show/movie/characters that are commonly known. This version lets you play as few as three people and still be fun. It also means you can play with more than eight people.

How many total cards are included in the regular game?  This is for purposes of buying a bigger box/case to fit the game + 1 expansion pack.

The Voting Game includes 10 player ID cards, 90 voting cards and 160 question cards for a total of 260 cards. Each expansion is 100 cards.

Can it be played with a larger group than 8? Is it simply limited by the 10 player cards?

The Voting Game includes question cards that support up to 10 players. If you want to play with more than 10 there are house rules that make it possible but it's not exactly the same game.
