Hot stuff
I'm not exactly a spicy connoisseur, but this stuff is great. Just a pinch in my salsa and it's the perfect amount of heat with no additional flavors. 10 out of 10 will be buying again.

Plenty hot, great for drinks
I bought this specifically to make spicy drinks and it works great. 1/4 teaspoon makes a .75 L of lemonade have a fun kick. I tried it on food too and because it's mixed with corn starch you may miss the spice over a hot sauce. This would be good in soups, and salad dressing, anything where you want a neutral burn, ie no pepper taste, and something easily measurable and dissolvable. I will buy again when I run out, but it will take a long time to get through this, meet my expectations completely

Hot!
If you are a chili had this is certainly for you if you think eating raw habaneros is difficult don’t bother buying Yellow cake. Not a whole lot of flavor, but the heat is there. Like me go through 5 to 10 bottles of hot sauce a month this is what you need. I get tired of some flavors. This is good with just about every type of food.

They aren't kidding it's hot.
Maybe not as hot as Plutonium #9, but epically hot. This tasteless, odorless powder provides extreme levels of heat to any of your savory or sweet foods without impacting the flavor like fresh and dried peppers can. A little goes a long way. Start with small amounts (1/8 tsp) and add more until you hit the heat level you want in your dish. Need a nuclear hot margarita, ice cream sundae or bowl of chili? Add this.

Packs a nice little punch
I've been using the World's Wicked Reaper Carolina Reaper Chili Powder for about half a year now, and let me tell you, it's a total game-changer in the world of spice! This little 2-ounce jar packs a punch that has taken my chili to a whole new level, and I couldn't be happier with the results. When it comes to making chili, I like to keep things simple, and this chili powder fits right into my easy-going cooking style. I start by browning some ground beef in a big pot and then add in all the classic chili ingredients: onions, garlic, kidney beans, and diced tomatoes. But here's where the magic happens – I sprinkle in a dash (or sometimes more) of the Carolina Reaper Chili Powder. The smell that fills my kitchen is absolutely incredible – a rich and smoky aroma that promises a spicy adventure. As the chili simmers away, the Carolina Reaper heat slowly infuses into every bite, creating this fantastic combination of flavors. It's not just about the heat; it's about the depth of flavor it adds to the dish. What I love most about this Carolina Reaper Chili Powder is its versatility. You can customize the amount you use to suit your heat tolerance. Whether you're a chili novice or a heat enthusiast, this powder can cater to your taste buds. Plus, it's not just for chili; I've experimented with it in other recipes like tacos, stews, and even marinades, and it never disappoints. The best part? It's not just about the heat; it's about the flavor. The Carolina Reaper Chili Powder brings a smoky, almost fruity undertone that sets it apart from your run-of-the-mill chili powders. It adds depth and complexity to my dishes that I've never experienced before. In conclusion, the World's Wicked Reaper Carolina Reaper Chili Powder has been a staple in my kitchen for the past six months, and I can't imagine making chili without it anymore. If you're looking to spice up your meals and elevate the flavor of your dishes, give this chili powder a try. It's a taste adventure waiting to happen, and you won't be disappointed with the deliciously fiery outcome!

This stuff is insane
incredibly spicy, you have to have gloves and a mask handling this stuff. the packaging is great though. I don't know what insane person would use this for food though. it smells like wet cardboard and only thing it does to food is make it painful. good if you just want heat or to challenge your friends

Great product, but BE CAREFUL!
Love this stuff. Use sparingly! (Like starting with about 1/16 tsp per quart of liquid). This will heat any food beyond edible if not careful. Doesn't change the flavor at all, but will make you sweat like you're cooking from the inside out. Not a nasal hot like Chinese mustard. Full body hot like wings.

Pass on this one. A lot of show and not a lot of go...
This review is for Mad Dog 357 Yellow Cake - 1.6M Capsicum Powder. The item shipped via Amazon with no shipping related issues. I will not be buying any more of this product nor do I recommend it as any sort of hot pepper. I bought this capsicum powder to make a pepper spray to use in my garden. To check its suitability I mixed in two bottles; one bottle a mix of ¼tsp powder in ½c ethyl alcohol. The other, ¼ tsp powder in ½c apple cider vinegar. I let the bottles sit in dark cool place over night after shacking bottles for a few minutes insuring the powder is dissolved. The next day I observed a fine layer of yellow stuff on the bottom of both bottles, with the acv bottle showing more stuff on the bottom. I applied 15 drops of each liquid to a dish of food. The food with alcohol mix had a mild hot flavor and unmistakable aroma and taste of alcohol. The other dish tasted like acv with no hint of hotness. I then put 4 drops each separately on a tea spoon and tasted each separately cleansing my pallet in between. The alcohol mix tasted as hot as mild to medium hot sauce without the peppery flavor, and it started opening my sinuses. The acv mix had a milder taste and no other reaction. In my own scale of Are You Kidding (as hot as bell peppers), to I Can’t Stop Crying (16 million SHU pure capsicum powder) , this powder lands somewhere short of the middle earning a Meh rating somewhere south of Tabasco. I defer to, and agree with another reviewer here that estimated a 10% capsicum in some other powder, and the stuff settling on the bottom of the bottles is a clear indication since capsicum is 100% dissolvable in alcohol so there should be no residue. I dipped the tip of a tooth pick in the powder and placed it on my tongue. The hotness feels about as hot as Tabasco sauce. As expected, it is hot and otherwise completely lacks any other peppery flavor. IMO the product is suitable as a gag gift for someone who is going to use it once or not at all. There is a lot of marketing hype here that doesn’t match what is in the bottle. It is highly overpriced as a food additive and completely unsuitable for pest control in the yard.
