I have been using the gloves for a couple months now. The first few times using the gloves, I felt invincible to the heat coming directly from my grill. I was able to handle hot grilling trays with ease, and I felt so safe that I forgot my face, body, and upper arms were not protected and learned my lesson there.HOWEVER, after several other uses with my grill and oven, the gloves are OK at best, but will only protect you from extreme grill/oven heat for barely a few seconds. Seriously, do not think you can hold a hot baking tray from the oven for more than 5 seconds; these gloves are literally only good for moving hot stuff out of the oven and then immediately putting the hot stuff down, ~5 seconds max or you will feel extreme heat and possibly get burned.On the bright side, the grippy stuff on the gloves are super grippy; so much you can possible scale up a glass window pane like a frog (a bit of an exaggeration, but the gloves sure have grip). In addition, the gloves fit me well, I am a size Medium in latex automotive gloves.

I've been using these gloves for about a month now. I am normally grilling a couple of times a week, and these have been really handy. They're heat-resistant enough for you to flip a bunch of burgers at once, or even picking up and turning over kebabs with your hands. The non-slip pads are helpful, too.You will eventually feel some warmth if you leave them over the grill for a while, but it comes on gradually and isn't very intense.If I had a complaint, it would be that they're a little snug. If you have especially large hands, these might not be especially comfortable to you. They have a small amount of give, since they're a woven material, but not a lot.

I am a woman. I don't use the grill but I wanted the longer coverage along the forearms as I have oven-scars that I want to avoid getting more of. These seem ok as far as heat resistance goes but they are cumbersome and I can't seem to get a good grip with them because they are big on me. I will probably have to return them, darn it.

Great quality gloves for the price. Good coverage past the wrist, no more oven burns on these arms :)I usually wear a size large gloves, and these are pretty snug. If an XL glove wearer, you may have trouble with the fit.

I bought these gloves to handle hot dishes from microwave/stove/oven and they suit this purpose just fine. I do feel heat through the gloves - nothing to hurt or harm, but I do feel warmth. I find it hard to believe these gloves can be used in up to 1472 Degrees F. I really don't think so. Also they are big on me, which is somewhat of a safety issue when handling hot dishes, but I manage. Wish the fingers were shorter, the palm longer, and the glove narrower. Should make in female/smaller sizes to. Overall, a nice pair of gloves which suites my needs.

Bought these gloves for my husband and as you can see he got burnt right through the gloves. Definitely do not recommend this product and will be returning.

These gloves run large and when I tried to put my fingers in the glove the lining was wadded up and would not allow me to get my fingers in without quite a bit of manipulating. They appear to be made adequately, but not well. Even though the hand part runs large the wrist bit is quite tight. These are going back.
