pure alcohol with no additives. works to clean up some corrosion and dirt/dust for electrical connections. i have found other uses for it as well for which it is normally not used.

Used this to clean contacts, pots and other parts of 4 electric guitars that I was getting ready to sell. Product worked well to clean them and remove noise! Only tricky part was finding a tube with the right diameter to direct the spray where I wanted it. Believe it or not, the tube from a head and shoulders shampoo pump (cleaned first, of course) worked well!

There are times, especially during a pandemic when you need a strong blast of 99.9% isopropyl alcohol for surfaces and things like keys chains and doorknobs, etc. This huge can has a forceful aerosol spray that gets into the nooks and crannies of exposed items that just can't be effectively sanitized by using a cloth and bottled alcohol. It can also sprayed onto a cloth to wipe down your more delicate electronics and dries quickly. Did I pay more than usual? Absolutely, but worth every penny right now. I highly recommend grabbing one when it becomes available. I use this for two perhaps unusual applications: 1) as a cutting fluid for drilling metals; I love that it just goes away once finished leaving things clean, and while it is not as effective as a purpose-made cutting oil, it is very good for most purposes. 2) when piano tuning, to lubricate the points of friction of the string so that there less differential tension built up between the speaking and non-speaking parts of the string; speeds up convergence to a stable note. It comes with a tube and a somewhat adjustable system for dispensing. It does not evaporate or spill when knocked over, and stays dry so that my piano strings don't rust. And, the price is less than most non-pressurized similar quantities of anhydrous alcohol. what is there not to like?

I bought this for removal of thermal grease and residue from PC hardware... been using 91% for years which is totally fine, but I also use it to clean a lot of things around the house so sometimes I'm out and these days you never know when you'll find more. The aerosol can sold it for me, it's easier to not be as wasteful with it. Haven't sprayed it directly on PCB but I wouldn't be afraid to either, that's the other part of justifying the cost... you're removing all doubt of damage... or 99% of it anyway. The guy from TYC sprays his parts down with brake cleaner so it's gotta be safer for plastics than that.

De manera simple, voy a resumir que lo he usado en el mantenimiento de periféricos tales como: mandos de consolas, mando de visor VR, joystick arcade, circuitería de PC, portátiles, el dial de un amplificador, hotas, etc, etc... Y gracias a este producto tan efectivo, me he ahorrado un buen dinero en mantenimientos más complejos. Por otro lado, he de aclarar que tiene un regulador de cantidad al girar el dosificador, que es bastante útil y que no supe ver hasta pasado un tiempo.

I've had so many controllers, or electronics with switches that have become unusable over the years and I always assumed the switches had worn down or died. Since I started using this on my "faulty" electronics I've discovered that it's a miracle elixir for old electronics! It's great for cleaning tar or oils that are stuck to surfaces too. It's an incredibly useful household cleaner for electronics or oil/grime buildup and from my experience is very safe, I've sprayed it on electronics that have been plugged in (since pure alcohol is non-conductive) and I haven't had any issues with damage or the alcohol reacting with anything I've used it on so far. Have had a problem with a toggle switch over the years. Took it to the repair shop a couple of times and was good for awhile then the problem re-occurred. I'm thinking that all they did was spray the contacts. instead of replacing the part as I had asked. Now I'll just do it my self. Took a couple of squirts and the problem was resolved. Just wish they sold it in a smaller quantity.
