Delish
We decided to retire our Kurig coffee maker recently. The waste involved with the pods was bothering us and we also questioned the freshness of the coffee in those pods. We bought a coffee machine with a grinder and this wonderful coffee and was well worth it. Not coffee snobs but enjoy a good cup in the morning. The coffee is smooth, aromatic and delicious and we have recommended it several time to friends. Enjoy.

Good price, ok coffee
Decent taste and body, but great price for fair trade/organic beans so I’ll take it. You get what you pay for eh

Smooth and subtle. Very tasty.
Got this over the past weekend and have had 4 cups so far. This is a very tasty and smooth coffee. It is a dark roast but I had to use an extra 1/2 a scoop more then I normally use. I like stronger coffees. Definitely a good smooth coffee. I would definitely buy more of it.

Great but not dark roast
I bought the 3 sisters medium roast It tates like their dark roast 454 hp coffee. Very smooth, very strong, great smell and good crema. Bitter but not in a bad way. But this isnt a medium roast not even darker medium roast it is dark roast i am fine with it as i love dark roast and medium roast coffee.

Not really a medium roast - dark & light roast blend with the dark notes coming through.
Partly my fault and Amazon search is horrible - put in specifically DECAF coffee and it brings up options that are not decaf - UGGG! As far as this coffee goes, it is decent, but not a medium roast as such; it seems to be a blend of very dark, slightly burnt coffee and light roast. The overall brewed coffee is OK, but some of the really dark notes come through. I would prefer a real medium roast coffee. As I was aiming for decaf, I have to order other coffee anyway and let some of my well caffeinated friends drink this.

Best for super automatic machines
Using with a Gaggia Prestige super automatic machine. Tried Lavazza Super Crema and Gran Espresso and this is my favorite. Taste is true medium roast but with more depth than the Super Crema

Great coffee. This is the lightest roast that we buy (Three Sisters is a medium roast), and it sees regular monthly rotation through our grinder. In general, I find that the Kicking Horse beans are consistent in terms of freshness, quality, and roasting levels from bag to bag, year to year. Individual flavour profiles are hard to review, as it depends entirely on an individuals taste preferences, but I can say with certainty that the three sisters medium roast is true to it's name as a medium roast coffee, and that the flavour matches well with the bags description of "cocoa, stone fruit, and sweet tobacco". Beans are always aromatic and oily, I've never had any off flavours or shrivelled, stale beans. Love Amazon carrying this through the subscribe options, and in 1 kg bags! We have monthly subscriptions set up for our coffee beans, and I've found that these Kicking Horse bags are always fresh and at a better price than any of my local stores.
