I am a clumsy kind of guy. so I wanted a case for my iPhone XR to save me from myself....or the phone at least. Lets face it, its no small investment, the phone is a necessary part of our daily lives and nobody wants to ghetto it up with a smashed screen or worse, a broken phone.Enter in the lightdesire case. I dig its looks, I like its construction and in theory, and on paper, this thing seems perfect. The good: short of a Howitzer, your phone is going to be protected. Aluminum with rubber with a rubber casing on the inside, sandwiched together with hex screws. The phone is secure, safe and protected from drops, scuffs and idiocy.The button controls are well placed and while it bills itself as waterproof, that's only if you use the gasket, which I don't.Perfect then, right?Nope.Ill mention a last positive before going negative - it supports wireless charging, in spite carrying more metal than an Abrams tank. That metal also creates an issue - my wifi is garbage with it on. I thought it was the carrier, disassembled it and found my connection vastly improved -- not good when you need the phone for internet related activities and of course GPS.the size - I have large hands - no really, I do - this thing is like trying to grip a brick. Unwieldy and uncomfortable - add in the lack of texture to form any sort of grip and you will test that drop protection more than you care to.The weight. Do you like lifting weights? I do! a lot, actually....but I don't like getting a leg workout from my phone or having it pull my gym shorts down.I wanted to like this case, but Im waiting on a UAG.

Been using these on 2 phones for years, absolutely the best protection! The phones are like new when you uncase them.

Two of the six holes do not allow the screw to be properly secured. It bothers me. I tried every screw that was provided and none of them work.

Hands down the best phone protector I’ve ever bought in my life. It feels very good in my hands & I it’s very good quality the instructions are very clear to read tooand to me it was very fun to put together. I recommend it 100% & I will buy more colors in the future!
