MBP Alloy Quick Release Fork Mount Bike Block (9x100mm) Truck Bed/Rack/Storage

This bike fork mount is constructed very well. Solid, good mounting options. Works very well for holding my new ebike in the truck bed. $15 versus $40 at a bike shop.

Made pretty well. Look fine, but have to use pliers to tighten and loosen. Threads must be off a bit.

I was looking for the mtb fork mount rack for my Bronco Sport from one of the main brands. Extremely expensive for what it was and it only fits smaller frames with 27.5 tires. This mount was directly installed into the rubberized cargo lid with 2 1/4 inch super small holes that will not affect value or performance if the mount is removed. The bike is a 29er with a Large frame and it fits perfectly. Anything larger than that I would not recommend. Extremely happy on how this project turned out!

I was looking for a couple of fork mount bike carriers to attach onto my Rhino-Rack aero vortex cross bars. I was frankly shocked at how expensive most were. Then I was shocked at how much less expensive these were. Figured I’d try them out and see if they’d fit my setup. Perfect. They’re heavy weight metal so great feeling of sturdiness once screwed down onto the rack. The quick release clamp seems like it should move over just a smidge more when closing the lever but so far it’s holding nice and tight. The quick release itself doesn’t have a security lock (I imagine you could replace it with one) but you could always thread a cable lock thru the fork mount holes in the body and or around the cross bars (in my setup). Really happy with this purchase and the price.

This is an affordable fork mount, which is why I got it. I found I didn't care for the length of the lever which made it difficult to get a really tight grip on the forks. It's perfectly functional but for my hands which are not the strongest, I wound up switching to a different fork mount with a different kind of locking mechanism and a longer lever.

We took a lot of bikes to RAGBRAI this year and needed to mount one on top of my van so I bought this quick release. I layered some old bike tube around my roof rack cross bar and used 3 large hose clamps to attach this release to the bar. I used an impact wrench to make sure the clamps were tight. This held tight all the way across Iowa and back to the Chicago suburbs afterward. It held my carbon Trek Domane perfectly both ways. I just secured the rear tire to the back cross bar with large Nite Ize twist ties and some hook and loop straps. The bike never moved. Afterward, I took it off to keep it in the garage out of the elements for next year. Excellent product.

Easy to install, these bike block will work well to hold the road and mountain bikes in place and save you lots of money on not having to buy a bike rack for the truck. 2 bike blocks no more than $30.00. Compare to my Thule 4 bike rack for my truck $3,000.00

Why this is not fit on the road cycle fork???? The axel is a bit big compare to the size of the lock of the fork?? So disappointed
