Problem Solved
I have a hard tonneau cover and sometimes my work blankets would fall into the tailgate crack jamming my tailgate closed. This prevents anything falling into the cracks. Tape is secure and holds well. Long strip makes two pieces. Saving the next one just in case.

Great product but adhesive is terrible
Tailgate gap filler is a great idea but the adhesive is terrible. I cleaned the surface with alcohol and even used an adhesion promoter. Product peeled up in a matter of two weeks.

Works great
Great product. There was enough in the box to redo it if I messed it up, which I didn’t. The extra adhesive wasn’t in the box, so minus one star for that.

Works great for keeping out road grime if your truck bed is covered.
This product does what it’s advertised to do. I like it much better than the foam seals I’ve used in the past. I don’t haul rock or dirt in the bed so I don’t know how it would hold up to that kind of use. But it keeps the dirt and weather out of my covered truck bed. The instructions say that alcohol pads and an adhesion promoter are included but they are not. I had to buy them myself, and the installation was simple.

It works for now...but with some modifications
Installed it on a new F150. The gap between the bedliner and tailgate cover was slightly wider than the strip (1/4"). So instead of leaving a narrow unprotected crack for dust and dirt to collect in against the painted surface, I installed two lengths-- one glued to the plastic bedliner and one glued to the tailgate cover (which came with the bedliner). I then tucked the tailgate length under the bedliner length where they overlap and removed the tape strip on the upper length to glue to the lower length. Hope it works... Glue strips seems narrow for the application and may not hold long on term. Would probably give 4-5 stars it if there was a similar product available that was an inch or two wider with wider tape strips, then one length would have worked and I'd have more confidence in the adhesive strip sticking long term. On the plus side at least it came with enough material to do two lengths and cut easily with sharp scissors.

Chemical smell BAD, over 1 year
Do NOT use in an enclosed area where you will be in the heat. I live in AZ, put in the bed of my truck, put a camper shell on the bed, 1 year later in the heat, and it still stinks like chemicals, BAD! Doesn’t stink in cold weather but anything 70+ degrees, you need a gas mask! (Not literally, but it is pretty bad). Adhesion is good even in 100+ degrees (though I haven’t pulled on it)

Really good stick.
So far. Have had on my "gap" for over a month, still sticking well. Really fixed the problem between the tailgate and bed.

Got twice as much as I needed
The only reason I didn't give this a full 5 stars is because I haven't installed it yet. The material is very pliable and it lays nicely on the tailgate of my truck. I just haven't had time to properly install it. I think it will make a great deal of difference and keep the rocks and debris out of the tailgate gap.
