Ludell 11302 Double Face Sledge Hammer with Double Wedged Fiberglass Handle, 2lb, 16" length

This works well to persuade stubborn parts to move. I used it to persuade horribly rusted bake drums to let go, I also used it to remove and replace damaged lug studs (no wise cracks, they were damaged before I started). This hammer also survived use by my clumsy adolescent son driving stakes and wedges. The thick rubber collar really earned it's keep.Update: I've had this over a year. I've not used it every day but more often than I thought I would. I'd guess several times a month most months. I've not been gentle with it. I've used it to hammer bent tools back into shape. I salvaged a bent pick/mattock back into usable shape that I found discarded. I've also used it to tighten up loose "bottom shelf" crescent wrenches. The keyhole track that the movable jaw travels in spreads with use causing them to loosen up. I've also used it with a punch to tighten scissors and pliers. I, and many others used it at church to hammer hundreds of stakes to mark a temporary parking lot for a neighboring community event. There were lots of overstrikes but the hammer is still completely serviceable without a hint of loosening.

Handle is only 13", overall tool length is just under 15", this makes a huge difference in leverage when swinging. Should have just grabbed one from a local hardware store.

Excellent product works good and built well seams some hammers I have bought in the past either the head comes loose after a little use or rubber on handle comes off but not this one will buy again if need other one but by the way they are built only way I should need another one is if my son takes it or I lose it

Description said 16" length, standard in American mechanical and structural engineering. Wanted to use as guage. Nope! 14" and spare change. Will keep for other uses.

The handle is not 16 inches. Only 13. I bought this thinking it would be a little longer and have better leverage than the 12 inch handles in the hardware stores. False advertising!

Very heavy duty hammer.Rubber at the base of the hammer keeps it from getting cut when you miss.UPDATE.AFTER USING IT MULTIPLE TIMES,THE HEAD IS READY TO FLY OFF.

First sledge hammer so not sure what I need to say. I have carpal tunnel so needed something more light weight than 5 lbs and this was perfect. Very solid and well made. Used it for "cutting" pavers.
