Earthly Choice Organic Maca Superfood Blend 48 Oz

This Super Food product comes from the same brand (Earthly Choice) as before except it has a bag makeover and one more ingredient added and it was maca. We have used this Super food before and loved it. Many reviewers here noticed a "bad" smell and it was the smell of maca and not a bad batch. This ingredient offers a lot of health benefits like enhancing energy, stamina, memory, increasing libido, reduce blood pressure, ... Maca is a relative of radish and it has an odor similar to butterscotch but if you can survive the bad smell then it is a real Super food. I would suggest you put some in yogurt, oatmeal, smoothie, ... and the taste will not be that bad. Give it a try and see!

I'm not sure if I got a bad bag like I've seen others say but this stuff tastes and smells awful! Just threw out one of my favorite smoothie recipes only this awful taste came threw the final product.

I use this to add to smoothies or even cereals sometimes for energy and drive, pre workout, etc.. Lots of good stuff in there! Costco sold it for a short while, but stopped. Glad I found it here!

OK, I was very skeptical of the other reviews reporting a taste and smell of vomit. I'd gotten this product several times before and didn't notice anything like that; it had kind of an odd taste that you have to get used to, but absolutely nothing like vomit. But then I needed to restock, so I ordered it here. When it arrived, I unfortunately found out exactly what the other reviews were talking about. It definitely smells like vomit, it tastes like vomit. I happened to still have the old bag lying around (the one that didn't taste like vomit), and I crosschecked the ingredients: they're identical. So, if they didn't change what's going into this blend, I have to assume something went wrong with this batch that's been going out. Hopefully they sort that out going forward, because I genuinely liked this product when I had it the last time. Three stars because I mix it with oatmeal and yogurt and the vomit taste isn't quite so noticeable in it.

Healthy meal choice for breakfast or snack. I prefer it hot at breakfast. It’s gluten free and vegan

This is by far one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever tasted. It tastes and smells like vomit. I think something Hass to be wrong with the product. I don’t know how they can solve this. I tried to return it and they don’t even take returns. What a disappointment. Buyers beware!

I was looking for this when Costco had it for a brief time. This is perfect for additive for my yogurt or blended shakes. Love the little cocoa bits.

The smell and taste is quite off putting. The old product without the maca was tremendous but apparently that isn't available any longer. So I thought I would try this despite the negative reviews. I am only able to use 1/3 the amount of what I used to use with the old product so as not to puke. Yes I am still using it. But I will not buy again.
