First and foremost, let's consider the actual material quality. The stand is plastic, of course. But the plastic is molded well and doesn't feel cheap. It's a little light weight and I would have preferred a heavier plastic but it's fine. The edges and molding are smooth and won't damage or scratch your Echo. On the bottom of the stand there's this grippy rubber type material. It does a good job preventing the Echo from sliding around. I tried it on glass and wood, and shook the table a little bit, the stand stayed in place.The shape is pretty nice as well. It's curved to hold your Echo and it holds it perfectly, not too tight and not too loose. On the back it has a little mold to hold the power cable so it isn't loose. You snake the cable in and set your echo on top of it. Does a good job hiding the cable in the stand. There are also holes around the curve where it holds your echo so the sound isn't muffled by the stand.The stand itself is actually a good idea because the Echo is normally pointed up towards the ceiling. It has nice lights that glow blue as well, but I normally don't even pay them any attention because the speaker is faced up. The stand makes it so the speaker faces towards you. This doesn't really sound like a big deal but it offers a few bonuses. I personally think the Echo looks better, more aesthetically pleasing, when it's on the stand facing towards you. And now because the Echo is facing towards you the sound from the speaker faces towards you as well. This is where the title of this item page comes into play. It says it "improves sound audibility". The stand doesn't make the speaker sound better mind you, but it does make it sound just a bit clearer. This is because, as I said before, the speaker can now be faced towards you instead of facing the ceiling.Overall, if you're looking for an aesthetically pleasing speaker that does it's job you can't go wrong with this one.At the time of writing this review, there is currently a 1 star rating that gives no info about the stand at all. It isn't even a purchase verified by Amazon. All I'm saying is that it seems suspicious because I had a fine time with my own stand so *shrug*.

This device places the Echo Dot 3rd generation in just the right position to pick up my voice throughout the living area.

We were having problem with our echo dot not hearing us sometimes and I knew it was because it was just seating flat but one we put it on this stand the problem was fix right away! It was super easy to install it and it looks awesome!

Puts your echo dot at a great angle for accessing the controls on top and it seems to enhance the sound quality compared to the style that holds the echo flat against the wall at the plug. Very happy with this purchase.

I have 14 echo devices divided between two residences we own. Since discovering the joys of using echo as an intercom, I've invested on one for just about every room in both places and wanted something to: a) improve sound quality, and: b) improve the overall appearance of the device. This SPORTLINK Table Holder has more than filled that need. Thus far, I've bought 8 of them, 2 white and 6 black. They market them for the 3rd generation dot, however, they work just fine with my 2nd generation dots. Holding the dot upright not only improves quality of the sound emitting from the dot, it also helps the dot to understand me and my husband better! I like the fact that there is a non-skid padding on the bottom surface which keeps it from slipping and sliding and the grooves behind the device that the cord snaps into which helps keep it out of sight. These are an inexpensive, attractive way to hold your echo dot and improve it's function!

We own 3 of these and they work great. The are a nice way to keep places neat and tidey. We even have one in the garage.

This is a good quality holder it lets Alexa here me a lot better then sitting flat and in my opinion looks great at a good price I received it in like 2 days

Usualmente no llego a hacer una reseña de un producto que no haya probado y/o usado previamente. Adquirí este producto para poder montar mi dispositivo Alexa, el cual se amolda a la perfección dejándolo mas funcional y a la vista. Ya que por estar en esta posición se logran ver de mejor maneras las notificaciones de Alexa. Debido a lo anterior, a su calidad y precio es que lo recomiendo.

Does the job. Keeps my speaker away from kitchen clutter and of harm's way. Helps with sound projection too. Some might say it's pricey for a bit of plastic but it is well designed and fit for purpose so what price convenience?Also it looks good and seems sturdy enough.

This little piece of plastic has made Alexa see a little more eye to eye with things .She hears me better in an upright position and less mistakes or weird responses. Would recommend!

I like that having it on the stand because it actually makes it easier to hear what she says. It is at a nice angle and having it on the stand keeps it from being damaged by other things you may have on the table.The only problem I had with it is the cord would not fit in the base of the stand to keep the cord out of the way. It does not change how this works, just a personal preference.I would highly recommend this product.
