Umbrella,Windproof Travel Umbrella Compact Mini Lightweight Umbrella Portable Folding Golf Umbrella (Black)

I was coming out of work, and didn't know it was windy and raining. I carry my umbrella in my backpack. I took it out and popped it open. I thought well this will be a good test. I was surprised that it stay open and didn't flip inside out, like most umbrellas that I have. This is a winner.

First of all , I bought two of these products. one of them is doing fine . The other one fell apart after a few uses. There is a little nail like thing that seems to hold it together at the open and closing point. It looks like it just got all bent up and fell out and then the whole umbrella fell apart. I do not know if this is common or it was just defective. I would be interested in hearing from some others on this.

This umbrella came just in time for a soaking wet week. I was surprised at the strength of the spring when pressing the button. The umbrella opened rapidly with effective protection from the freezing rain at the local winter festival. I was given two thumbs up from my daughter for this purchase.

- Just as compact as any other, but is a fair bit larger than other compacts when opened - Open and close button works well, just keep a good hold on the handle - Handle itself is a bit shorter than I'd prefer, at 2.5". Not as easy to hold on to during the jerk that happens at open/close - Handle is wrapped with leather-feeling material, is decently grippy - Comes with a sheath, but... When retracted, it isn't slim enough to go back in the case very easily. You have to use your hands to hold it down and start inserting. Not so easy or pleasant when it's wet, but I personally could ditch the sheath w/o a problem. The first time I used it, it took about a minute to fully extend. I think that's from shipping squishedness. It's working smoothly now. When you retract it, it just closes the top. You still have to manually push the stem back down if you want it back to starting position. That can get you wet, but if your situation allows you can just let it dry a while first. The material feels as sturdy as any other umbrella I've used. It does have a couple of faults, but I do like this better than any other compact I've used. It's much wider coverage. Won't open or close. Even if you try to open manually it won't catch to stay up

This umbrella is light and compact when closed and handy to have in your bag. It opens smoothly with its automatic mechanism. I tried it when it is was windy and it withstand the wind, no flipping. Still have to see what happens when winds are gutsy. Good buy though!

It is much heavier than a travel mini umbrella is expected to be.

This umbrella opens and shuts easily, which is the best feature for me. It came in a swede pouch, really nice. I received the replacement umbrella! Works really well!
