Edoten Men's Japan Kimono Jimbei SIJIRAORI 100% Cotton.

Love wearing these around the house and grounds. Very comfortable, breathes well and the whole outfit costs as much as a single dress shirt. Light fabric is breathable and cool. Keep in mind that these are Japanese manufacture and Japanese sizes run smaller than American sizes. I'm 5/11 @190 lbs and the XL fits me very nice (even after some shrinkage). I have a couple XL and one L set. The L initially fit me well, but I put it through the dryer and now it's a tad too small. I take special care to hang dry my Jinbei and Samue now. It *will* shrink a bit in the dryer. The stitching and weave is very good. It holds up well. But be careful if you want to remove the tag in the top. Tearing out the tag will result in stitching damage. Even then... it's confined to the tag area and doesn't seem to come un-stitched. The only complaint I have about any of my Jinbei is the bottom. The waist is elasticized with a drawstring... yet there's also a button and a zipper... Why? it's pointless and just runs up the price of manufacture. Also, all the pockets seem to be unnecessary. The clothing is so light you wouldn't want to fill up the pockets or your pants would be constantly tugged down

This jinbei is fantastic and incredibly comfortable, deserving of five stars! My only minor wish is that it was made in Japan rather than China.

Ordering Asian sizes can be a trip for a plus size guy. Depending on cut a 3xl us is usually ok for me. I went with the largest size here and it fit perfectly fine even after washing. The shorts themselves are comfortable and the shirt is great lounge around the house on a warm day.

I read Japanese and can confirm that 1) this jinbei was made in China, and 2) it is 100% cotton fabric. Regardless of the claims of the company selling it ("Edoten"), it was not made in Japan. I ordered it in Size "L" and it fits pretty well (I am 5'10", 165 lbs.). It is comfortable (the fabric is slightly ribbed and not as comfortable as a cotton t-shirt) and looks good. The shorts are reasonably loose and can probably fit sizes 32-34 quite well.

I purchased the LL Jinbei from Edoten for a Natsu-matsuri festival I recently attended. It was delivered quickly and was packaged well. The jinbei matched, and even exceeded, my expectations for the appearance of it, based upon the pictures. It has a very nice texture, and is lightweight. That, and the ventilation in the sleeves make it ideal to wear on a hot summer day. The pants were exactly the length that I like, and with the drawstring were easy to adjust. The other cool thing is all the pockets. The top has two, and the pants have three. While the fabric was lightweight for the summer, it seems durable and very well-made. I wore it throughout the duration of the festival and four hours worth of travel, and found it to be incredibly comfortable. Additionally, I got several compliments on the jinbei throughout the day, so not only is if comfy and well-made, but it also looks good. I would highly recommend it!

I'm big (4xl) and so I carried this to Japan to substitute for the hotel pajamas. I wore this outside in Kyoto, Nara, and Kanazawa, and was complimented by Japanese in all places.

I have had a lot of trouble purchasing Asian clothing on Amazon - all seem to have "size guide" but most are not accurate. This set is absolutely perfect! I am almost always a "L" in US sizes and this time, I ordered a "L" on this item (usually too small for me). But this one is TRUE TO SIZE - US and the quality, fabric and style is stunning. I literally went back to this listing and bought two more of different colors. This outfit is soft, relaxed, and actually, kind of sexy! Absolutely thrilled .....
