My cat has made great improvements!
My cat is one who walked up to me outside just emaciated and we took him in, to the vet. Even though he's healthy now after yards of medicines to clear a ton of infections and worms at first, he is still not eating as much as he needs to put on a little bit more weight. I decided to try vitamins to increase his appetite. This is so easy to give him. We use a syringe (one person holds and the other person pries open his mouth and ejects liquid vitamin). He was a little confused at first, but he kept licking his lips. He hasn't put up any fuss at all since the first time about taking this. He doesn't open up his mouth for it, but he is a willing participant and doesn't fight it at all. And, low and behold, his appetite has improved. He looks so much healthier even tho he's still a skinny cat. But he's playing with the dogs and running around the house non stop. So, he's feeling pretty good, I'd say. The bottle is going to last a long time. So, that makes the price very good. Just remember to refrigerate the bottle once you open it. This is good stuff and I'm so glad to not have to try giving him pills. Recommend (my friend bought a bottle after asking me where I got it and she's having results even better than me).

Excellent product and cat seems to like it
I use this product carefully for a cat that has always refused canned and dry cat food (she was premature). It has helped her greatly as she is on a homemade diet. She takes it easily via syringe and it seems to taste pleasant. I am careful with the dosage after discussing with our vet (not given daily). As it has some sugar in it, it does cause an increase in appetite.

Fair product my Cats liked it and ate it.
First time purchase on this brand of vitamins for my cats. They ate it they liked it. The only reason I give it a four star is because it doesnโt have enough vitamins I feel in it. But the cats do eat it no problems.

Went from feral to fabulous!
I adopted a feral cat 18 mo ago. It was a slow, rough start. He was a starving, worm and mite infected fellow. When he tamed down enough, he decided to try inside, much to my joy. He ate everything in sight. The other cat's food, the dog food and any people food he could get his paws on. He went from 10 lbs to 16 pounds in 8 months! Took him to the vet, ran multiple tests to find out he was fat. The vet strongly suggested the highest cost of food he had available. I declined and changed the feeding schedule from 2x daily to 4x daily so everyone would eat a little at a time and he wouldn't be able to eat their food. I ordered this supplement and have been able to go back to 2x daily feeding. He was starving for nutrients. Thanks for making my cat feel better. His hair is even shinier! YEHAW for happy, healthy cats.

The Lid Leaks When Shaken as Directed
This is the first time I have bought this Spectrin liquid vitamin supplement for cats. I don't think this lid has ever been sealed properly and I need to know if this vitamin formula is spoiled and unfit to use. The safety seal was properly affixed, not tampered with. I read the instructions, removed the safety seal and shook the bottle as directed. The liquid leaks out from the lid. There is some kind of dark corrosion on the foil at the top of the lid and there are little dark speckles in the vitamin liquid. I can't be sure if it smells right or not, because I have never had any experience with Spectrin liquid cat vitamins until today. Two Pictures included.

Easy to administer with the right dropper
I have an old cat who has a malady, which caused thickening of the wall of his small intestine. It is still not determined whether the cause is lymphoma or it is irritable bowel disease. The result is nutrient malabsorption and precipitous weight loss of about 40%, despite a very strong appetite. The cat's malnutrition is so severe that I am administering 2x the daily amount instructed for his weight on the bottle's label. He is given a measured squirt onto the roof of his mouth at 7am after breakfast, and at 7pm after dinner. I'm using an Easy Dose bulb type 'Spoon Dropper' of capacity 1 tsp. It is easy to clean and sterilize with a dilute solution of dish detergent + bleach after each use. I've found that the sick cat does not eat his food if I mix even a half-dose into a meal portion that he normally can finish immediately. However, we also have a one year old kitten that was caught licking clean the Spectrum bottle cap which had been left on the kitchen counter while I was attending to the sick cat. If the sick cat (now 13 yrs old) does pull through and begins regaining weight as a result of my twice daily nutritional interventions, I will update this review to attest to this product's effectiveness. Until then, I cannot report as to how effective this product is. Update: 1-5-17 The sick cat (now almost 14 yrs old) is doing far better now than last year. Beginning last July I've been making up a DAILY formula consisting of: 8 fl oz Meyenberg full fat goat milk 1 raw organic egg yolk 1 tsp Spectrin liquid multi-supplement 28 g scoop of Naked Whey 100% grass fed whey protein powder 1/8 tsp trans-resveratrol powder 1/32 tsp Purina FortiFlora probiotic powder 1/32 tsp PremoPet Premo probiotic powder In addition to the above formula, the sick cat also began eating Hounds & Gatos zero-carb catfood every day, a food which we discovered only late last spring. However, he definitely prefers the above formula, which I dispense in several small servings per day, while keeping the remainder cold and fresh in the fridge. His weight has since increased from just 6.5 lbs to 7.8 lbs currently. Note that in his prime, his weight was 9.5 lbs, So he is still far from healthy. But last summer, before I began making up the formula, he was so weak that we didn't think he had 4 weeks of life left in him. Now, he is again going outside a few hours per day and doing his best to live his life to its fullest. Update: 4-24-2017 Cat is still alive, albeit very boney looking, but every day he goes outside, and he can still purr, and still cuddles with me in bed. I failed to mention earlier, that as far back as April of last year I have also been giving him once per week a 1 ml squirt from the dropper included with Nature's Bounty Sublingual Liquid B Complex. This product is marketed for human consumption, and 1 ml is a daily human dose. I was instructed by my vet to give him this enormous dose once per week. About 3 months ago I began adding 10 mg piperine powder to the formula, as one medical study (on humans, not cats) showed that it greatly supports the trans-resveratrol supplement.

Definitely reducing joint pain
I bought this hoping it would help my cat with apparent joint pain that she just started showing signs of. ie slow to get up, limping on her back legs, especially after lying down for awhile. I mix it with her canned food and she loves the taste. Its like a gravy supplement, thank goodness, because with cats the 1st question is can I get this in them? Now the most important part; does it help? I believe it is helping her. It took a few weeks of course, but she is showing signs of improved mobility and becoming a little more playful. Hopfully this product will come back in stock. 18SEP: I raised my rating from 4 stars to 5. My cat is definitely showing reduced joint pain. She is more playful than she has been in months and is back to climbing on the back of the couch and chairs. I'd noticed that she'd stopped climbing before I noticed her limping, but it never occured to me she was having joint pain :( So I'm very thankful she eats this and its helping her feel better!

BEWARE...Big Seal/Packaging problem
Received item, removed cap to find the seal was just floating around within the lid and & NOT sealed. This is a HUGE issue as this product states to refrigerate after opening. Well, if the seal doesn't seal, then the product has been exposed to heat & air for "HOW LONG?" I returned the item for a replacement...Guess what, the replacement arrived with same issue. The seal was lifted from the edges nearly all of the way around. So again, a product requiring refrigeration after opening has been exposed "how long?" Very upset after receiving 2 in a row in this condition. Was so looking forward to the nutritional support it may have offered to our family member/pet...But this could be risky, even dangerous when contents can deteriorate. At two in a row, I wonder are others getting an "unsealed" product? There is a definite flaw in the bottling process.
