Works as promised! Lay it out and make sure you attach the top to the top of the door, (not the bottom). The dogs love being able to go in and out and the flies stay out. Mine is on the ground about a half inch, but I had no choice and I wasn’t going to cut and see it by hand. Definitely need to use the racks they supply. The screen will come undone from the sticky Velcro due to the weight. Once I applied the tacks, no problem. The first two I bought from another company didn’t even last twenty-four hours. Much better quality!

Love Magic Mesh. Great alternative to a dog door and for going in and out of your screen door. Latches together with magnets right after you walk through. Very durable even for my large dogs who run through it all day long. Easy to install with tacks provided on door frame and double sided velcro tape.

After much research, measuring, and comparison, we purchased and installed this mesh screen 5 months ago. It seemed like the perfect solution to the mosquito problem in our area and would (in theory) keep out any flying pests trying to enter our living space. The location where we installed the mesh netting has low-medium traffic. Usage is approximately two days a week with 10-15 entry/exits per day. The weather in our area ranges from 35 (winter)-110 (summer) degrees. Here are our pros and cons on the product. Pros: Practical- I love the fact that the entry is on one side. We only use one French door, so this made the most sense. Easy to Install- Installation was quick, and the instructions were pretty straightforward: measure, add adhesive/Velcro strips to mesh, stick mesh with Velcro strips onto trim, and reinforce with pins (this can be optional for those who prefer to not puncture holes in trim). I was able to do this on my own without assistance. Within 5 minutes, it was installed and ready for use. Cons: Magnet Closure- The magnets will meet and close the screen if they fall directly in line with in another. We found the preferred to attach themselves to our metal door instead, allowing plenty of space for bugs to make their way in. You will likely need to help guide the magnets back to one another to ensure it is kept closed. This was difficult to keep track of when kids are running in and out. Durability-We did not use the doorway until the second month after installing. Once we started using the doorway, one of the magnets fell and could not be reattached. Hopeful, we reached out to Amazon to seek a replacement for the magnet, but we did not receive a response. A month ago, we noticed the corner had separated from the lining, and the Velcro adhesive is melting already; we are still 20 degrees under our high point. This product needs design adjustments to help improve quality and durability. It was great in theory, but unfortunately, we are back to researching for a better alternative.

Very easy to install we did end up securing everything with nails also I'm not happy it is already framed around the magnet area every time we walk in and out it feels like spider webs are trailing on us but it is just a free material coming loose I am used a lighter to help melt the material to be there but so far we have had it up for days and it actually is keeping everything out but now you install click together so in actuality so far so good I'm just not happy about feeling that the material is already coming apart since day one

It's cheaply made on the stitching. Magnets are great and the size is so perfect. It woukd be so much better if they added some sort of a tough coating on it so it didn't start falling apart within a month. If I have to I will add fabric glue to it or buy a new one every spring but if it was more durable it would most definitely gotten 5 stars. It's still worth it for my 3 dogs though! You may still get a few bugs in the house that sneak by but it's so much better than the 50 thousand I would get without this product. Also, I bought an off version of this before this one and it was absolutely horrible. The construction seemed a tad better but the size was horrible and it kept falling down so I was super happy when I pulled this one out and held it up to my screen door and knew it was gonna be great! After cleaning the wood around my screen door with alcohol, I put velcro on, I used what came with but also used extreme durable outdoor use velcro and then when it was all in place I added the tacs it came with and hammered them into the wood very easily. I have zero issues with that, but I may have had issues had I not used the tacs all over. So again, if I need to, I will buy every spring but it would be nice to only need to buy every 5 to 10 years.

Very great product super easy setup just as described would definitely buy again.

We received the net quickly. The instructions are well written. You want the panel to be tight and fit your frame. Our frame was between two seam sections so if we opted to cut along the mesh instead of the next seam in to have it fit right, so we were already at a disadvantage of appropriate fit. We were able to place and adjust the adhesive stickers as necessary, but during install when we’d place and attempt to pull tight the mesh against the seam ripped in a few places (with gentle pressure). We were willing to deal with that. But within 12 hours the adhesive stopped sticking to the frame and parts of the panel would sag, fall and droop off the frame. The slit where you walk through was easy enough to part, but the magnets weren’t strong enough to bring the panel all the way together to automatically close. Therefore it needed to be taught, but there was zero give. Hence, the concept is there, but the execution isn’t quiet right. I feel that if there was elasticity to the mesh and seams so the fabric can stretch and not tear, would have made a huge difference. We ended up taking it all off within 3 days. You get a panel, adhesives and tacks. We are in a rental property and opted not to use the tasks to protect the frame. But since our net was cut to fit our frame, I assume the tacks would’ve torn threw the mesh anyway. Be mindful if you install internally, it would be part of your interior aesthetic (a black mesh sheet). Yeah it’s mesh and “see-through” but not attractive.

Well, it was cheap. As others have noted, the magnetic closures are pathetically weak and ineffective
