Horrific. I do not for one second believe that this is olive oil. I'm a good cook, no matter the variety of olive oil, it's a recognizable smell and taste. The content of this had nothing to do with olive oil. And even if it was: Price is too high for a 16 oz plastic bottle. Shocked. Tossed it out.

Doesn't taste at all like extra virgin and first cold pressed olive oil should. Maybe the plastic bottle is contaminating the flavor of the oil.

I bought a bottle of IOS Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a glass bottle the other day because the price was right. When I first tasted it, I thought it might be rancid because it lacked any of the peppery, grassy characteristics I associate with a high quality olive oil. You might be able to get away with using it in a dish that has strong flavors where the flavor of the oil is less important, but on its own it's pretty terrible.
