The dog house was real easy to put together. It would be nice if the floors screwed in instead of laying on the frame. There were holes for screws in the floor but not in the frame. No points off since it’s plenty sturdy as is. It’s real cute and made of real wood. Cedar I think. The only downside is my mini poodle pup doesn’t like it. Can’t blame the house. She will go in every once in a while and perhaps she’ll come to like it. I would recommend the medium size for mini poodles, schnauzers and wire hair Fox terriers. It’s plenty big but not too big.

I have a little boy who cannot be trusted in the house when mommy and daddy go out. So we had to make him a little enclosed area outside where he could not access the doggie door (to come into our house) when we are gone. We got this dog house for him and he likes it. Our ten-year old grandson helped his grandpa put it together, and it went together nicely and did not outgas chemical smells. I throw an old quilt in there, and when we go out we open the back door to the garage, and he runs and gets in his dog house happily. Of course he is even happier when we come home and he can greet us and come inside our house. I ordered a porch for his house but it has been on back order for awhile (I ordered it when Amazon had a temporary price reduction as they sometimes do for some reason). Wood is a little light weight. Not heavy like ceder should be.

Great price and great product. It was shipped with care and it was easy to assemble. The great thing about this product is that it can be assembled by either a woman like me who is not good at assembling or a man who loves easy to do projects. Our dog loves his new home. I will certainly recommend this Ware Manufacturing to friends and family. My husband and I did research the product and even visited many local pet stores and the price with Ware Manufacturing Inc. was much less. It saved us money plus with Amazon Prime, we were able to receive it at no shipping cost. Couldn't get better than that!

the doghouse showed up broken and cracked in several corners. We put it together but had to do our own repairs. My dog likes it.

I was little worried about ordering this outdoor animal house for the cats after seeing reviews about split wood, bad smell, misaligned holes, and pets that refused to go in the house. The house was together in less than 15 minutes and that included unpacking, finding the drill, and the lock-tight for the screws. The house smells like cedar which is a natural insect repellent. The cats have already gotten in and out numerous times. I need to water test it, but it appears very water tight. I will use some clear caulk on the nails just as extra protection from rain, but I think it is probably unneeded protection. I will see how it holds up in the hot Texas summer, but based on what I have seen I think this house will last for years to come. My only concern is I will most likely need to get a second one because two of the cats have already had a small sparring match over using it.

This is a nicely built dog house. Easy to assemble and great looking.
