Great stitching and comfort
I cannot give a 5 star review as I bought this used and the pants were missing from the package. I will say though that I really enjoy the top part of the gi! I can't compare to other gi's on how light it is, but the durability and comfort of the material is more than I was expecting for the price. I don't like clothes that irritate my neck, but this gi did not bother me one bit. For the price, I was also expecting it to be flimsy, but the material is very light and the stitching is pretty solid. I did find some strings that were left over from the sewing machine (may have been because it was used), but all that's needed is to cut them short so they don't unravel. Dries FAST after hand washing in cold water.

Protects against Moose sweat
Dear fellow hoofed mammals,I recently had the opportunity to try out a ju jitsu gi, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. As a moose, I am no stranger to rough and tumble physical activity, and this gi held up to my expectations.First and foremost, the gi was made of a durable and sturdy material that held up well to my antlers and general moose roughhousing. The fit was comfortable and allowed me to move freely without feeling constricted or restricted in my movements. The design of the gi was also pleasing to the eye. I appreciated the simplicity of the design, which showcased the quality of the material and stitching. The lack of excessive adornments and flashy details also made the gi less distracting, allowing me to focus on my technique during training. One aspect that I particularly appreciated was the moisture-wicking technology used in the fabric. As a moose, I tend to sweat quite a bit during physical activity, and this gi kept me relatively dry and comfortable throughout my training sessions.Overall, I would highly recommend this ju jitsu gi to any fellow moose who are looking for a durable and comfortable gi that can withstand their rough and tumble lifestyle. Whether you're training for self-defense or simply looking for a comfortable and functional outfit for your physical activities, this gi is definitely worth considering.

Deceived: NOT Gray, as depicted. Otherwise, functional.
TLDR: It’s actually blue - not gray. Don’t know how anyone could reasonably mistake something which is blue as gray. However, it is otherwise a functional item.I wear keikogi while working as the garment of choice year round for their durability and comfortable fit. I layer as needed for the cold northern Illinois winter. They are adequate for summer as well due, successfully keeping mosquitos from being able to feed from most of my body, and the relatively loose fit enables good heat dissipation in 100% cotton varieties, although it would be preferable if there were options made from heavily woven linen instead for the hot weather.I have found it hard to find adequate options in the color gray over the years. Black and white are of course very common, and while I love black especially for actually being better in hot weather as well as the aesthetic, it is a known fact that it does not blend in well with natural environments and that mosquitos tend to be attracted to black, and so it is not ideal.White, on the other hand, also sticks out like a sore thumb, and also reflects one’s own body heat back at oneself, making it the worst choice for hot weather. Besides that, I absolutely cannot stand the color white aesthetically, and the other common colors of red and blue I find equally repugnant. I prefer muted colors, gray being my favorite, besides black.Gray is also a nearly perfect middle-ground for my purposes: blends well, absorbs and reflects right in between black and white, and is my favorite color next to black. So I saw the photos of the described “gray” heavyweight cotton keikogi and was sold!Observe the included photos. In one, I took a screenshot of the gray uwagi depicted on this item’s description. Clearly, a perfect deep gray. Refreshing, as I have seen many people calling things “gray” which are actually a dull shade of blue.Observe the other photo, however, where I have placed the keikogi on a bench next to a gray blanket and a gray pair of cargo pants. The difference can be seen clear as day: the keikogi is NOT gray - it’s another dull blue imposter masquerading as “gray.”I understand that there is a group of very mistaken individuals, perhaps with a form of color blindness, that believe gray is blue and blue is gray. My own wife is one of them, having me paint the walls of our house gray, although she insists the paint is blue. However, the fact of the matter is that gray is gray, and blue is blue. There are NO shades of blue which can be mistaken for gray, and similarly NO shades of gray which can be mistaken for blue.I mentioned earlier how I find blues generally repulsive. This keikogi was depicted as gray, labeled as gray, and turned out to be blue. Imagine my irritation.Perhaps this seems like an overreaction, but I feel I have been deceived. I cannot STAND when this kind of thing happens - people, especially merchants, should be transparent and exact about what they’re saying or selling, and it is highly offensive to be lied to. It is for this that I can only afford it two stars, for truly it is only about one third what it could be. Perhaps the seller truly believes this blue is actually gray, but then there should be quality control to correct this undeniable error. I once rented an apartment described beforehand to me as “a garden view” unit... turns out, it was in the basement, and the one ground-level window had a plant next to it. Seriously?... just tell me the blasted truth - lie to me, and you have lost my respect. This is the same type of thing.Still, it meets the functionality expected of the type of garment - it fits well, it’s comfortable, and it’s durable. I gave it one star for the category “Lightweight” because it is in fact NOT lightweight, but as I mentioned before, that’s a quality which I value in clothing - this stuff is tough, and that’s the way it should be.I am furthermore annoyed with the branding on it. A point is made in the description to say there is no branding on the front in particular, which is true, however, the brand is embroidered onto each upper arm. I don’t like having branding on me to begin with and therefore remove any branding from virtually everything I own, but I definitely do not want to advertise for this particular company on account of them having deceived me. But I mean, what else could be wrong, here - is the red pink? Is the white tan? Is the black actually gray? It will be hard to remove... The tags are already branded anyway - I feel like the embroidery is therefore overkill, and adding unnecessary cost to the item.Still, I will keep it, remove the annoying embroidered logos stitch by stitch, and eventually dye it the actual color it is supposed to be, because again, although it is clearly not even close to the color described, it checks other boxes which are important to me. If it had actually been exactly as described, it would have received an overall 5 stars for sure.

Great gi for the price
For this price you can’t lose. I’ve done jiu jitsu for years and I have a lot of different gi’s. I like the light weight and it’s pretty solid. Haven’t had any tears or rips or even close to that. The sizing was correct for me. I always switch between my gi’s for longevity and I feel this gi will hold up for awhile. If your a beginner and just getting started and not sure if you’ll stick to jiu jitsu or not then I’d buy this gi. It’s cheap for price and quality is great
