Lojel Lucid 26" Spinner Luggage, Passion Red, 28 Inch

I finally had it crack at the base around a wheel. It still works, but it’s time…I’ll spend a little more this time for a model that’s a tad more durable for great price and weight. Yellow was easy to track down.

I personally don't like it because there is much space in this luggage. The front bag occupies half of space of the luggage, which isn't shown in the pictures. It's unlikely that you can put clothes or shoes into the front bag. It's designed to place laptops and small things like belts and pens... And personally I prefer to put my pens and laptop in my backpack rather than a carry-on luggage. But the bag does look gorgeous outside and well-made. If you care about the space in the luggage, you probably shouldn't buy it.

UPDATE: Used this for a two week trip overseas (4 flight segments and some city rolling). It held up well and performed well. Not impressively smooth rolling but good. I think I might prefer the Rimowa 29 salsa air since its wheels are just better based on use of a smaller case - but haven't tried it weighed down to confirm. Anyway, this case was everything I hoped it would be. Liked using the traditional suitcase split rather than middle split - however I basically had to lay both sides open to use the contents since the hinge is floppy.ORIGINAL REVIEWBought this medium checked luggage also in Navy after trying it out in a local store (they only sold red). I had been considering keeping a very similarly designed medium Tumi Vapor in sapphire that I liked but had reservations about keeping because it was heavy, double the price of this one, and a little conspicuous as being valuable.After trying this Lojel in a store, I returned the Tumi and will be using this one on an upcoming trip. I'm happy I found this case as it is 2 pounds lighter than the Tumi - but feels even lighter than that, rolls nicely on short pile carpet, has a sturdy extending handle, flexible but strong hard case, and a 10 year limited warranty by the manufacturer. The case splits more than in the middle so the bottom has maybe 70% space and the top has 30% - more like a traditional style suitcase (as did the Vapor). This case also expands. If you haven't felt this case in person - I think you'd be happy you bought it after feeling the thin, but flexible and strong hard shell. It feels a little stronger/thicker than a Rimowa air salsa but not as thick as the Tumi Vapor.Will likely be able to update this star rating after seeing how it handles air travel.I bother writing this review even before using it because there is only 1 other review here on Amazon and this case deserves serious consideration if you're in the market.

Absolutely love this suitcase! Although a hard-sided style, it is pliable and gives where needed. There is also a zipper to expand another couple of inches. The 360* spinner wheels work great and stay in the intended direction.I first bought the smaller carry-on size and was so happy with it that I ordered this larger size. Between the two, there is plenty of room for a long trip. And they come with a lifetime warranty. What could be better?

the color is gorgeous and i have the other pieces in this line. the idea was to have an easy access to the laptop for security. in my case i needed a larger outside pocket. or it would have gotten a 5

I like the suitcase but it arrived with some fairly significant scratches. Looked like maybe it had been a display unit or had been returned. It's a suitcase so its going to get scratched up and I needed it for a trip so I didn't bother trying to return it.

Very thin, probably will not hold up to the airlines. Expected more for the cost. Have one at home I bought from TJ Maxx for less than half the cost of this one that I was replacing, but since seeing how weak and thin this is, I'll probably keep the old one just in case.
