I got these to light up the inside of my pickup canopy without using too much power like adding incandescent light would have. Knocked off a star because there's no instructions on how to daisy chain them together. To do that, you have to carefully strip off the gel coating on the non-wired end to expose the copper contacts, then carefully solder the wires from the next string.

Blue LED strips.The good:Upon arrival, opened ziplock style baggie and removed 8 strips that were rolled up for shipping.Promply tested all 8 strips using a 9 volt battery. All 8 worked. All were decently bright with just 9vdc.Brightness obviously increased with proper voltage of vehicle these were being mounted in.The bad:Adhesive is standard run of the mill chinesium sticky stuff. In other words, it's not good adhesive. The protective paper barely stays stuck.Even scrubbing the clean, bare metal surface with acetone didn't allow the adhesive to stick in many spots. It's just simply not good stickum.Zip ties, contact cement, string, gaffers tape, etc... Would be advised depending on how you plan to mount these.Overall: 8/10. Would buy again depending on intended usage.

All of the strips lit up when I tested them. The adhesive wasnt the greatest but I have some strong double sided tape that should do the trick. The lights also appear to have a purplish tint to the which kinda sucks because they wont match the pure blue LEDs I already have from a different manufacturer. I will try to remember to post pictures after I install them tonight on my motorcycle. I would complain a little more about the color, but for the price I really cant complain, and the set of them will be plenty to light up the motorcycle.

Nice bright lights, I went with blue, so a very good light for finding gear in the night and going back into the dark.As with pretty much any LED strip the wires are tiny and a bit hard to strip without breaking, but that's almost expected these days.Adhesive isn't great, but they stick. I'm expecting 1 or 2 of the 4 I installed to end up peeling at some point, then I'll use a different method.Overall I'm happy with these, the quality so far and level of light is definitely worth the price

They are very thin and a little flimsy, but for the price they are OK. Don't expect them to light up the night, but they will give a soothing, nice glow. I wired 2 in parallel for a brighter effect (see picture). Note: the adhesive isn't very strong you might have to improvise a better way to keep it in place. I used double sided, sticky back velcro strips, i'm sure red 3m tape would work just as well. Overall Ok for lite, small applications where a little accent lighting will do.

Oh my goodness! My husband got these put on/in the rubrail on his boat. He said to attract fish at night (which it will) but believe me, it's just as much (if not more) for show......& they do look good!

I bought these to replace a bad led light strip on the mudflap of my pickup truck. As luck would have it, it was a direct replacement. These days I want to bring as much attention to my brake lights as I can with everybody’s head buried in their phones.I replaced both left and right strips for uniformity. I cleaned the surface with alcohol before applying the strips and one adhered nicely. It was a cold damp day and by the time I finished wiring the second one the adhesive did not stick as well and I ended up using spray contact cement to make it stick the following day when the rain had stopped. This is a great product for a very reasonable price. It would be silly not to buy it if this is what you are looking for.

I installed these in my Subaru Impreza and they look great. For $9 and $2 worth of wire, I was able to install 6 of these in my car in a variety of places and connect them directly to the map/dome lights. There are many youtube videos describing how to do this and even though I never saw a 2018 Subaru specifically, the concept is similar across makes and models.I will use the spare 2 lights for an RC model project. I loves these things.
