These things were surprisingly good. Not nearly as tough as beef jerky but sometimes requires some extra chewing because they are pretty dry. A word of advice, if you plan on being a few with you in a separate Plastic baggie, maybe bring proof of what they are. A security guard who checked my bag at an event thought they were some kind of smokable drugs. “I ain’t never seen no beef jerky that looked like this”. But they taste pretty good and are filling enough to have as a keto snack with something like a handful of almonds. Just have some water handy, too.

I love beef jerky so I decided to foray into this here biltong product. It is absolutely disgusting and for some reason it tasted like chai tea (which you DO NOT want meat to taste like). I also do not like exactly how dry it is. Beef jerky is dry yes, but this is bone dry and has a weird texture because of this. But the seasoning reallllly killed it for me.

Never heard or had this type of jerky before so I was a little hesitant but I’m glad I rolled the dice. This will be my new goto unless the price gets out of hand. It has a hint of a spice. Maybe clove? Zero sugar & High quality ingredients were the main reasons I purchased this. They are a bit dry but extremely tasty and flavorful. Ordering these again. Re-ordered these 4-5 times already. And counting.

This is a delicious low carb meat snack. Unfortunately the food industry has ruined beef jerky. It’s pretty much impossible to find jerky that is not loaded with sugar. Not this stuff, it is low carb and tasty. It is dry and somewhat hard but that is it’s appeal. I take small bites and it fills my mouth with meat flavor. No this is not your typical over processed sugary soft beef jerky. It is a hearty meat snack that is a great addition to a carnivore or keto diet. It’s a bit pricey so I took off one star.

The beef sticks were very very dry - at first they almost tasted too old but I got used to them - sticks in the package are not uniformly cut, so it is hard to really know nutritional values - flavor is a little stark but very savory !!!

I very happy to see Biltong and "Droe Wors" finally making it to the USA. The "mini sticks" is some of the best "droe wors" I've had in a long time. I like the fact that it is not super compact, it has just the right amount of fat in it and the spices are not overwhelming - you can actually taste the meat. The casing is nice and loose, so for those that dont like casings, it peels off easily. Delicious!

I very rarely write reviews, and even more seldom bad ones, but I’m writing this one to help other ex-pat South Africans from making the same mistake. This stuff is truly terrible. Other than having a semblance to the general droerwors spices, the taste is terrible. There’s some kind of strong acid taste, my guess is from too much vinegar in the blend, but also something else terrible. There is also a grainy texture to the meat that is just off, and overall the sticks are extremely moist and soft. Highly, highly recommend against.

What's not to like! The flavor is unique, but light and incredibly flavorful, with a hint of clove that just works. the texture is dry with a light beefy odor- not greasy, fatty, and acrid like most beef sticks. Honestly, I was just taking a flyer on these the first time I ordered them. But I've reordered 5 times because they are simply the best beef sticks out there.
