Besides changing my iPhone battery some months ago, I had no experience with changing parts on electronics. But after seeing the prices for someone to change my screen for my Surface Pro 6…I decided to change it myself. The new screen arrived super fast and installing it actually was pretty simple. (Take off the old screen, disconnect two cables, install the new screen, reconnect cables and glue it...that's all!) All you need is a hair dryer, a mini pry bar or metal pry tool (I used a dull razor blade), and some E600 glue. The screen works FANTASTIC! The touch response is phenomenal. And the resolution looks the same as the original. This is a high-quality screen 💯 Thank you!!!!!!!!

Works good. Less sensitivity than original. I rely on keyboard input most anyway so not a real issue. Touchscreen still functions okay.

Works fine on the main areas of the screen, but fails close to the edges. I need a fully touch device, especially one that will work with a screen protector, but in this case the right edge doesn't work with my finger even without the screen protector (works with a Surface pen, which is like a touchless mouse). Not happy. Wouldn't recommend.

Everything worked perfect. However, after 5 weeks, I noticed the touch screen part stopped picking up inputs on the edges. Then I tested with a touch pen and tried to calibrate the screen. Calibrations didn't help anything. Now after 3 months, none of the touch screen works!

took it to repair person to tell me why the touch screen part wasn't working and was told the screen was old and that i got scammed. BE WARE

I broke the screen a while ago. Since the computer is a few years old, it is not worth it to pay a high price to fix it. Instead, I decided to fix it myself. After comparing stores at amazon, I ordered the screen from this store. At first I was a little concerned. The store says the package contains screen only, nothing else, unlike other stores. But I found the screen itself is enough. My computer still has working cable and I can use tools from applying screen protectors to smartphones. I just need to buy B-7000 glue. After watching youtube videos on replacing the screens, I worked on it and got my computer work again. If you have patience, it is not difficult to change screens. The quality of the screen is good for its price for now. I don't know whether it could deteriorate after a few months of use. If so, I might give feedback later.
