NEED TO PROTECT CORD AT PLUG END.
CORD NEEDS ADDITIONAL PROTECTION AT PLUG TO RADIO. ANTENNA WORKS WELL BUT CORD ON FIRST UNIT BROKE AT PLUG AFTER 8 MONTHS. WILL WRAP THIS ONE WITH TAPE..

it works ok if you are within a mile or two of the radio transmitter...
it says in it speck's it has 3 to 6 db gain........that is impossible for this size antenna...if you need a very small antenna for your purpose then this will do.

BNC Connection just fell off!
After less than six months of very light use, the BNC connector came off. Just fell off. I tried super gluing it back together but the antenna didn’t work anymore.

Good ham radio antenna also
Bought the antenna for a ham radio. Works better than the one that came with radio, louder and clearer! Good reception at wide range of frequency, every one I tried (20 to 3000 MHZ) which is great compared to 10 other antennas I tried (rabbit ears, HD tv power ant., mag&electric loop, telescopic and portable).

Gives me further distance.
For the money, it gives me further distance and I'm happy with. And very easy to use. I just wish the cable was about 10 feet longer.

Small but mighty
For a little antenna the quality of reception is amazing. The only downside is the coax separates from the BNC housing easily had to reattach.
