Frenchic Furniture Paint New & Improved Lazy Range - Hornblower - 750ml

I honestly was dubious about trying this product, No need for primer? no need to seal? Varnish? what??? surely there is no way??? Well I was absolutely amazed. I had bought an old orange pine head board to upcycle for our bedroom, and knew it was gonna be a pain to cover, but this paint covered like a dream, self levelling meant very little brish strokes or dripping, and even after only an hour it was dry and ready for the next coat. After around 12 hours it felt tough as nails, like this thing could take some knocks and there would be no damage, Does what it says, the best one product needed only paint I have ever used. Worth the price tag for less stress and les time consumption. Gives a beautiful true pure white finish that is very very close to matt finish. Highly recommend, I wouldn't go past this paint, will be using this for all my furniture upcycles from now on. Took 3 coats for the headboard and 2 coats for the lamp base.

Easy to use. Colour as described. Painted 3 coats on a large dresser/sideboard and still have enough left for a 4th if required, i dont though as the 3rd covered the pine really well, almost solid white, if I wanted wholly solid I would.have done the 4th coat but was adding gold was to distress so wasn't needed. I'm going to use the remaining paint on something else. 1st time painting furniture and it was really easy. Paint went on a dream, washed out of clothes and brushes really easy. A good thickness so no runs. No odour. I decided after that i wasnt keen on the chalky feel so bought polycrylic from Amazon and put 2 coats on the top, the sideboard now has a very light sheen to it but more importantly to me it feels smooth. Next day delivery. No stockists in my area so Amazon came to the rescue. Extremely well packaged to prevent damage during transit. Would definately recommend this paint and will use it again.

I used Frenchic paint to paint my kitchen cupboards a few years ago but, having just had a new kitchen floor laid, I wanted to change the colour. The paint goes on smoothly and self levels and it dries very quickly. I found that two coats give the best result if you’re painting over a darker colour. The finish is superb and can easily be wiped down without causing a problem. I also painted a dark veneered unit in my lounge a few years ago and, as with the kitchen cupboards, the finish is lovely. You have probably guessed that I’m a Frenchic fan and it really is excellent if you want to upgrade something in your house.

Needs three ciats for a large wardrobe and has transformed it nicely. Easy to use and clean.

Used this a few times so easy to paint with. The paint goes a long way covers great doesn't need waxing
