Use only on good quality paper
These brushes are too stiff for scrubbing on any paper other than my Arches cold press. The paper has to be 100% cotton and not all cotton paper is created equal. For example they marmalised my Stonehenge 300lb hot press.

Wish I had discovered these years ago. They really help in removing paint. You can’t be too aggressive or they remove the paper

Very Handy for Softening Paint Edges
I have found this sturdy trio so handy for softening the edges in my watercolor paintings without damaging my good watercolor paper. The price was well within my budget. No breaking the bank for this must have set!

Great product
I paint with water colors. I was told by another armature artist that these brushes work great on mistakes. And they do! I was warned by my art teacher that you can over use the "scrubber" and ruin your painting. It rips fibers off your paper when you use it. You can dig a hole into your paper or simply over work the area ruining the paper quality. As a beginner, I love correcting small mistakes rather then throwing the whole painting away.

Just what I wanted
These brushes are what I wanted for my watercolor painting. They work as intended; they lift the color off, especially if you have a splotch on your paper. Just a light rub and the mark disappears.

It works
It works. I just tried it yesterday and it works. It lifts the paint and it scrubs the paper. Once you clean the paper out it's ready to go. A lot cheaper than having to go to the art store. And it has three good sizes

Good job
I really didn’t know if these brushes would work so I gave them a try. They surprised me and did the job and I am pleased with them. Just don’t over work them they will mess your paper up.

Don’t work well
Like using a toothbrush to lift paint…wouldn’t recommend. Damages paper it’s so hard

Very useful for scrubbing and blending
I use these on Strathmore 300gsm cold press paper and they scrub and blend beautifully as expected. I use Winsor & Newton Cotman and professional watercolours.

Not worth the cost...to small to do anything with...
As another reviewer had written, I too thought I had ordered the larger brush. This one is too small to do anything. It was too costly to return it.
