My daughter has played with this set for the past 3 Decembers. She is about to turn 4 and still loves when we take this out each year. It’s been really fun to see how her play has evolved over the years, especially as she learns and understands more of the nativity story. We are pregnant with our second child and I’m excited to see how they play with this together next year. Great product!

I am so very glad I decided to purchase this specific nativity set! I was extremely impressed with the quality of the figures. They are a very durable plastic, and will definitely stand up to many years of play. They are very detailed as well, and for such a low price compared with other nativity sets, I believe this set is an amazing bargain. I think that, especially for a children's set, it would be difficult to find such a complete set as well. It comes with 2 shepards (along with 1 ram and 1 sheep), the 3 wise men (along with a camel), 2 angels, a donkey (along with a bale of hay), a palm tree, a stable, and of course Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus. (Jesus and his manger are seperate, so baby Jesus is actually 2 pieces.) We got this for our 13-month old as her first nativity set. Though she doesn't quite yet understand what all of the pieces mean, she loved playing with them, and this is where their durability was tested. The pieces really do fit perfectly into a childs hand. Honestly, I think they are beautiful enough to be displayed with the other decorations, so we have it out on our mantel when it isn't being played with. Also, it did come with a miniature story book (about the same size as the figurines) that tells the biblical story of baby Jesus. It's not illustrated, but it is a cute little teaching tool. Another neat inclusion is a guide for parents about a child's spiritual development and which concepts children often grasp at which age group. I absolutely LOVE everyhing about this precious set, and plan on buying many more for future gifts. If you are looking for a very complete set, that your child can play with, for a more than fair price, you will not be dissapointed.

My favorite part of this Nativity set is that baby Jesus is a standalone figure so you can actually wrap him in swaddling clothes and lay him in the manger. The figures don't look make believe, they are sturdy and very kid friendly. Of all the nativity sets available for children, this is the one I most highly recommend. I get invited to lots of baby showers, and this is the gift I give every single time.

I purchased this nativity set as a Christmas gift for my six year old. She loves the story of the nativity and absolutely adores this set! What she likes best about it is the fact that she can play with it and not worry about breaking anything. There are 19 pieces in total, which include a small pamphlet that gives a brief synopsis of the story of the nativity in English, French, and Spanish. The rest of the set includes, two angels, three shepherds, three wise men, two sheep, one camel, one donkey, Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, a manger and a haystack. Finally, there is the stable, which is really just the stable front. Most of the pieces are between 2 and 3 inches high and are made of a type of medium plastic. The craftsmanship of the set is excellent. The stable is about 5 inches high at its highest point and is 10 inches wide. Both my children, ages 6 and 3, love playing with this set. Although the recommended age range for this product is 8 and up, younger children can appreciate it. You should be aware that for children younger than 3, the baby Jesus is quite small (approximately 2" L x 1/2" W) and could pose a choking hazard. As a parent, I would highly recommend this set to any parent of children ages 5 and up. Not only is it fun, but it's also educational. My daughter likes to use it to act out the nativity while she tells the story to her little brother.

Good size. Durable. But a little creepy. Baby Jesus looks like a grown man in a swaddle.

Great choice for a gift to a 2 year old.

We like it. We wanted a Nativity that our young kids could play with safely but also looked nice. All the other ones were so expensive but this one was reasonable and comes with a lot of pieces. I'd buy this one again.
