Perfect Pool
12'x30" model I bought my wife an inflatable pool first and realized right away I needed something better. After lots of research and reading a million reviews, we decided this would work best for our situation, and that was the right decision. Now, it says not to put on concrete, and I'm sure that's because concrete will probably tear up the vinyl, so we first laid out some foamy square things and covered our entire back patio with them. I live in the desert and my yard is all rock, so that wasn't going to work, and I needed a pool darn it! So, this thing is sturdy. I was worried at first with the PVC elbows and everything, but it is sturdy as can be. Took all day to fill up, but it is a beautiful specimen. I bought it without the smaller pump as most of the reviews state the included pump isn't too strong, so I bought the next larger pump and haven't had any issues at all. Here are some tips: When setting up check and recheck that there is nothing, and I mean nothing, under the vinyl insert. Somehow three rocks got kicked under and we didn't notice until it was filled. One rock immediately punctured the liner and we were hole hunting on the first night. Used Gorilla tape to patch and it worked perfectly. The next day we found the other two rock and patched them. No other leaks so far! Tip: make sure you balance the chemicals just like you would any pool. Algae grows in pools, you need your chemicals. This isn't a chemical review so I'm not going into details here, but make sure you do your research and keep your pool clean and safe! You can get replacement liners right from Intex so that is what we will do next year instead of storing the liner, but that's your choice obviously. We are just lazy like that. Here are some bullet points: * Rugged and Sturdy * Looks good * Liner feels nice * Easy to setup * Enjoyable * Definitely worth the price. My wife bought a floaty and just lays back in this pool all day every day this summer. It is the perfect depth for a flotation pool. At 12', probably a little small for both of us to float and move around much, but two can definitely float. The biggest thing to note is getting in and getting out. My wife is 5'8" and she can get in and out with a stepstool, but we do have one because she does need it sometimes. If you are looking at the 30" model, you should consider a stepstool. That's it. Great Pool, easy to setup, and fun to use! I hope this review was helpful!

READ THIS: Parts that DO and DO NOT come with pool.
Bought this 12x30 pool without a pump because I had already purchased the Intex Krystal Clear C1500 pump. I did not get a straight answer from service as to what parts actually came with this pool, so Iโm sharing in hopes that it will help someone else. Besides the frame, legs and liner. This pool comes with two 1.25 inch hoses, 2 strainer grids 1.25 inches, 6 hose clamps for 1.25 inch hoses, 3 filter plugs, 1 t-joint with three 1.25 inch openings and 1 adjustable pool inlet nozzle. It DOES NOT come with the plunger valve that connects to the inlet nozzle. The pump I purchased, also DID NOT include it. I purchased it separately for $14.99. The Intex pump I purchased came with two 1.5 inch hoses. So I also needed to purchase a dual split hose plunger valve compatible with Intex pools for $9.89. It has openings for two 1.25 inch hoses (that came with the pool) and one 1.5 inch hose opening, which makes the t-joint that comes with the pool unnecessary. There is a You Tube video tutorial on how to fit this larger pump outlet to your pool. I decided to use the upgraded pump instead of the pump that actually comes with the pool pump combo (not this pool, it does not come with a pump) because when I purchased a 10x30 pool with the pump in 2023, it was not strong enough to clean it. The upgraded pump definitely works much better to keep the pool clear! I would absolutely purchase the pool without the pump again to avoid unnecessary cleaning and/or green pool issues. I know that in many reviews there were holes in the liner right out of the box, I have purchased two pools, two different sizes and have not had this issue. In summary, the pool works well for cooling down in the heat and fits adults comfortably. As long as you know what youโre dealing with, it makes the pool purchase and set up much simpler.

Itโs bigger than size shown
Iโve bought this same pool and size for 3 years in in a row this year the pool once put up is obviously larger than the past 2 years of 12x30 Iโm not complaining but it made it a challenge to fit on the pad we built for the 12x30 Iโve have great experiences with this brand of pool itโs why I buy them each year. Very well made I couldnโt be happier

Easy setup and good value
Must have above ground pool. Super easy and fast install. I did this by myself and took me about 20 minutes to get it all up and running. Does not come with a pump, but great value for the money. Built sturdy and has been a great pool for my kiddos and for adults.

Great pool, horrible customer service
Edit 6/14/23: Changing from 1 star for 4. After being transferred to a few different CS reps, Amazon did end up give me a partial credit for the pool, essentially making the replacement liner free, which is all I was looking for, so I can get one for next year without any leaks. Thanks Amazon for ultimately comin through. Initial Review: This is the second intex pool I've purchased through Amazon. The first one I bought in 2021 and it was great. Due to moving to a bigger space, I decided to upgrade this year. The pool was easy to assemble, is the right size. All in all, excited. However, after a day of it being filled, I noticed that there must be a pinhole on the bottom of the liner somewhere (we made sure the ground was clear of debris, leveled it out, and laid down tarps). I reached out to intex, in the hopes that I could provide all my order info and they'd send me out a new liner. They gave me the run around and wanted me to send the whole pool back. Draining and dismantling a 1700 gallon pool that you just set up isn't ideal, let alone paying a 2nd time to refill it, so I obviously didn't want to do that. Intex won't help, Amazon won't help. So basically, unless the defect makes your pool unusable anyways, you're SOL if something minor is wrong.

Intex pool leaks right out of the box
This is my second Intex pool. First one lasted 2 years. I bought this last year, but didnโt install it. This season I took it out of the box and installed it. The pool started leaking at the bottom seams. Contacted the seller Spreetail and they sent me to Intex. I emailed Intex at [email protected] - sent them all the info on my issue - no response. Their Web contact form does not work. Contacting Intex on the phone takes 2h wait. The warranty expires in 1 week. Iโm guessing Intex will ignore me until the warranty is gone. I would not recommend Intex products.

Perfect for summer
I bought this pool in 2022 and waited a year to review. It was very easy to assemble. I was able to put it together by myself the first year and my husband helped this year. It was put on a concrete patio so I did use gym mats underneath to make the bottom soft and avoid any tears. Make sure it is level! I ordered the mats from Amazon but underestimated the amount. Luckily, Lowes sells them too. I put a tarp on top of the mats then assembled the pool. The last pole is a little tricky. Once assembled, add water. I was constantly pulling the bottom taunt, and making sure the pool was straight and that there wasn't any wrinkles as it filled. Once there is a few inches of water it won't move so keep an eye on it as it fills and walk around tugging on the bottom to make sure it's wrinkle free. We used 2 hoses and it was full in a few hours. I purchased a separate stronger pump, chemicals and a skimmer. Get the skimmer! This will be the 2nd year and it still works great! I use chlorine tablets in a floater. Get the PH within range, water hardness and alkalinity. I shock it once a week or after a hard rain and I use a soft brush to scrub it every few days. We did break it down and store it after last summer. I researched storing it on YouTube. The baby powder trick helped. We cleaned it and put back up this year. No leaks. Still great! Best summer purchase ever.

Great pool, decent price.
I specifically bought this pool without the filter pump included because i had already bought a better quality filter pump than the ones that usually come with this pool. The pool is sturdy, easy enough to set up by myself and the material is good quality. A lot of work to maintain (sweeping, vacuuming, skimming daily) so i might size down this year but, for the size and value, Iโd buy this again if i want a larger pool!

Easy to install
Pool arrived super fast and was up and full by next day. Size is perfect for two adults and their floaties! Prize is right and pool well made.

Great pool for young kids
Great pool for young kids stands about 4 feet tall is big enough to float around in, even I enjoy it. Does not include a pump

Great pool for the kids
Slightly confusing assembly as some of the instructions referred to something that doesnโt seem to be on this model, regardless, liber is thick and once you realize that there is no pins or place to put them in, it comes together quickly enough and is quite sturdy.

Easy to set up
Be aware pool does not come with a pump. Lining seems nice and thick. We have only had set up for a few weeks but seems like it will last. Great quality for the price. Would recommend
