My wife and I consider ourselves somewhat along the gourmet line, and we have bought many exotic and expensive varietals of (black) pepper over the years; but this is definitely the most flavorful pepper we have ever had. For sure, it is our all-time favorite.

The tastiest pepper most people have never heard of
Pepper is pepper, right? Well, as it turns out, there is a wide ranger of pepper plants with absolutely different tastes. The Voatsiperifery pepper is a tad smaller than the usual supermarket peppercorns, and it usually has a tiny tail on the end of the kernel. The big difference is the taste- these are peppery, but have a spicy, floral taste that is totally different. They go really well with pasta, pizza, even fruit!
