First introduced in 1970, the compelling art deco imagery in this now-classic tarot deck brought medieval tarot symbolism into the modern Aquarian age. Aquarian Tarot has remained a bestseller throughout the four decades it has been in print and still resonates today with those seeking transformation. “Man has always been interested in the mysteries of his unconscious and the future; whether consciously or not, he has always strived toward the light of transcendent life. The cards, in the universal language of symbols, explore man’s collective unconscious and its bearing on one’s personal life and growth. Whether the cards help one know oneself better or point one in a new direction, they add a new dimension to one’s experience of life.” —from the Aquarian Tarot booklet by David Palladini Review: Italian edition is a vintage blast from the past - This is a review especially for the Italian edition of this deck. The Aquarian is a favourite tarot of mine; I own a vintage '70s edition, an English edition bought this year and this Italian version. The Italian edition is my favourite in print version - it is different from the English version in several ways. First, the card size of the Italian deck is wider with more rounded corners, similar to vintage versions. Secondly, the lovely swirly blue and white pattern back does not have a border around it. This is the same as my vintage deck and unlike the current English edition which has a white border. Also, the colours are not as saturated in the Italian deck making them seem softer. Lastly, the cardstock of the Italian deck is a marvel - strong and smooth making shuffling a dream. The cardstock of the English edition is good, the Italian stock is better. Yes, the titles are in Italian but this is a superb edition that harks back to vintage versions of the deck. If you like the Aquarian tarot or want to try it then give the Italian edition a try. Review: Aquarian Tarot - Excellent quality and beautiful images. Just one point make sure that you order the English version (if that is what you require), there is also an Italian language one.

For the vintage lovers
Amazing deck with beautiful colours and a truly 70s vibe. Even the box looks vintage. The imagery mostly follows the tradition of the Rider Waite but reinterpreted in Palladini's style. I cannot give 5 stars because unfortunately in this Italian edition the Stars card is misspelled. Such a pity because the card is truly unique. I am not convinced by Palladini's choice of using a man in armour for the Strength card instead of the traditional woman with lion, but that's just my personal preference. Despite these two little cons, there are so many pros for me: a vibrant and communicative symbology, beautiful earthy imagery and colours, and a certain pleasant nostalgia. I think it will make it to my top 3 favourite decks and I definitely recommend it

Just few details, but excellent, but then... Disaster
I collect tarot decks and recently acquired 2 of these: one as a gift that I sent to Italy, and one for me, to use. Overall I am very pleased with the quality of it, I know that this is in Italian only, and has a tiny little manual. Card stock could have been a touch better, cards are thin but shuffle well. Symbolism is akin to the Rider Waite, so if you are familiar with RWS then you should like it. The style of it all is Art Deco, but colours are not radiant, rather soft and calming. I am giving this deck 5 stars, though there are two little things that should have been done better.... The manual, which is a strip of paper without staples that folds over and over that looks like something out of a pills or medication box. Also, the box! After you open it 2 or 3 times it will look very second hand. The deck though in my opinion is very good. 5 star to US Games. UPDATE 14 04.2020 Just realised that the major arcana XVII the star, in Italian LA StellA is misspelled!!!! Spelled with the plural det. article LE stellA !!!. This is a present and I am sorry but not good enough. From 5 to 2 stars in seconds.

Aquarian Tarot - edizione italiana

Exactly like the Original!
None of the new decks released have compared to the original deck printed until now! I took the advice from a customer review that suggested buying this deck even though it is the Italian version. My original deck was shredded from so much use and since then I have purchased the new version released along with the Tin version but they have never been the same. I stumbled upon a review that said this deck is just like the original and she was so right. If you are looking for something that is close to original deck from the 70’s, this deck is it. Very, very happy!!!
