CitizenWomen's Eco-Drive Dress Classic Diamond Watch in Two-tone Stainless Steel, Mother of Pearl Dial (Model: EW1824-57D)

This is my wife’s third Citizen watch. The first watch I bought for her when we worked out of the country for an extended period and she didn't want to wear her Omega watch. She liked it so much that she never went back to wearing the Omega on a regular basis, not that it isn't also a great watch she liked the Citizen watch because she didn't have to worry about losing or damaging her Omega. In 2015 I bought her another Citizen watch that not only did it have Eco-Drive it also was Radio Controlled and had several time zones. It was a very nice watch, but she had me return it because it was a bit larger than her first Citizen watch. After thirty years of great service, the solar cell would not retain a charge. After returning it to Citizen for factory service we were formed that the solar battery was not available due to the pandemic. She found a replacement in a local jewelry store that she liked. The watch was available on Amazon for two hundred dollars less. Since the Citizen company was unable to make repairs, they offered to replace the watch with a new watch from their website at a 50% discount, but they would keep her old watch. She wanted to keep her old watch so Citizen is returning it. I highly recommend Citizen watch company and their great line of watches.

I was so happy when it was delivered. I didn’t know it would look as good as it did in the write up about it, but it looks better. I can’t believe how many features it has and I plan on wearing it every day. It’s comfortable, lightweight, scratch resistant and water proof. The dial is absolutely beautiful with the mother of pearl face and the diamond markers. I wish the diamonds around the bezel were just a bit bigger but that’s certainly not a flaw. I would highly recommend getting this watch for people who want the best in life.

This is my second citizen watch and it's beautiful! A total workhorse in my opinion. Always looks good.

** Missed return date 😢..now stuck with this watch..have not wore AT ALL..its on a shelf in the closet..waste of money..**Love Citizen watches.Diamonds are subpar..cloudy. I have watches that cost much less but the diamonds in them are better quality than these. This looks cheap.**contemplating return for replacement to see if I can get one with better diamonds or just to get refund all together...Will update after I decide

This watch is beautiful, accurate, and durable. I am very selective when it comes to the watch that I purchase, because once I put it on my wrist I never take it off. My watches have to be able to go in the shower, wash dishes, go swimming, go outside and work in the yard with me, and survive every day at school with me (I am an elementary school teacher). I also love not ever having to worry about changing a battery. Yes, these watches are expensive (on a teacher's salary), but the Eco-Drives are truly worth every penny.My previous Citizen Eco-Drive really convinced me how durable and reliable these watches are.I bought a new Eco-Drive for two reasons:1. I had scratched the face of my previous watch up quite a bit.2. I wanted my daughter (who is still not great with watches/jewelry) to have a nice watch (despite the scratches).About this watch specifically, I love the mother-of-pearl dial, the gold accents, the diamond accented bezel, and diamond markers on the face (at 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, and 11). This watch also has a date window at 3 o'clock. For some reason I always buy a watch with a date feature, even though I never actually look at it for the date. I also selected this particular watch because it was listed as having "antireflective-sapphire dial window", as the sapphire crystal is scratch resistant and extremely strong--this was the selling point for me.Would I buy this watch again? Absolutely.Would I recommend it? Yes, to anybody who needs a durable watch with style and bling.

Love, love, love this watch! I have a larger female hand and wrist, most bracelets do not fit me, so the watch is a flattering size for me. I love the look of the mother of pearl face and the diamonds really sparkle! The glowing face makes it possible to read in the dark, though I like an 'indiglo' face better. The band is appealing, very comfortable, and so far has not come open unexpectedly. I went to the citizen site and found a certified jeweler in my area that happily adjusted the band by removing one link. Perfect. I like that I will never have to change the battery and I don't have to worry if I get it wet washing dishes. I haven't worn it in the shower or swimming but read other reviews saying it was not an issue. My only complaint is the date display. I can't read it at all. WAY to small. Also set for 31 days in a month and you have to manually change it when there is less than 31 days in the month. They should just get rid of it in my opinion....useless and a bother. So I dinged them one star on the 'easy to read' section for that but really would give that section 4.75 stars and overall 4.9999 stars.

For years my wife would aske me over and over again "what time is it?" As the dutiful and loving husband I would tell her the time. About two years ago I had decided to buy her a watch and then she went on a business trip to NYC and upon her return she had a lovely Tissot on her wrist. . .quite lady like and hard to read. A few weeks later it was "lost" somewhere in her home office. Our anniversary comes along and I have not see the Tissot in more than a year. I have been a fan of Citizen and I went looking and found this gem. I wake my wife every morning with a cup of tea just how she likes it and with a bowl of cut fruit to start her day. Nearly every morning when I find her on the couch where she had finally fallen asleep because she had found me radiating too much heat and needing a cooler resting place. I am no longer surprised that I see that lovely Citizen on her wrist. It is a hit in our house.
