5 star product.
Costa Farms really does an outstanding job. The plants we order from you are very healthy. They are better than the pictures you show. The plants are potted in a good quality pot and wrapped securely and sturdy. You really deliver beautiful plants.

I want new plant or a refund
ordered this as a gift on 12/16/2025 and it got here beautiful, intact and well packaged on 12/22/2025. We had unseasonably warm sunny weather with highs in the upper 70’s so I carefully placed it on the deck for the afternoon sun for a few hours about 3 days in a row . I noticed the first day most of the leaves had liquid fertilizer residual ( like miracle grow maybe) The 3rd day of warm sunshine I completely removed the brown wrapper The leaves looked and felt dry so the next day I gently used a lukewarm damp cloth in attempt to remove some of the bright green fertilizer residual. The topsoil under the plastic wrap was dry so I gave it a 1/2 cup drink of water as directed. I was so worried that I would not be able to keep this plant alive until my son’s girlfriend got here. I’ve never had a green thumb so they scare me a little. And My black thumb did not disappoint. I checked on the plant this morning which has been living in a warm room west facing room and BOOM ! Dead leaves everywhere and it looks like it would go great at the Addams Family’s or The Munsters house. Soooo very disappointed because I was so careful. My son and GF will be here tomorrow and I just want to trash the whole thing. No more plants For me. Spent way too much money over the years without zero luck.

Bought multiple items. They always come in good shape.
Exactly as advertised. This is my fourth purchase from Costa Farms. They do a really good job with the packaging most of the time it’s 99.99% intact if not 100% intact. Delivery is quick because we live in the same state. And have nothing negative to say. The plant came healthy. Looks great and exactly like the picture size. All the purchases come exactly as advertisement and described. The packaging is very simple, open at the top, rip on the side take your plant out and you’re done. Update: I uploaded images of 5 feet fiddle leaf versions. I was going to do a separate review but it doesn’t allow me because it’s the same product different size. Both of them came in healthy. I was a little worried at the beginning because I missed a delivery by mistake. So they were held two days extra instead of two days delivery so that was a total four days they were packaged perfectly. Luckily, they had no damage on them. Letting them soak outside in the water/sun for a bit before repotting and bringing them and door. UPDATE: 2/5/2024 Everything in the review still holds true the only thing I would be a little bit careful for that one of the trees that are 5 feet came in more leaning on the right side, than directly growing in the center so what happened is that the roots and everything was very well established, except the was only one branch growing directly in the center, while the other five were going directly on the right side, making a tilt over. This is not the fault of the grower. It was just grown that way and probably nobody noticed it. It wasn't noticeable inside the box, but once taken out and watered and let it spread out a little bit. I would not be able to be put inside of a vase for indoors, (I tried) since it would lean on the 4 o'clock angle versus straight. I could have straighten it by force by tying it down/stake but the tree is very well developed with a lot of leaves it's pretty much already set in stone. I didn't want to return it because it would be too clumsy and I had no room for it outdoors. Luckily, Amazon customer support was helpful and they gave me a refund. Totally unexpected. Like I said, this is probably a fluke every other item bought by coastal Farm came in perfectly. I would be a little bit more careful for the larger trees like these you would probably want to contact them and ask them to specifically look from one that's more straight in the center.

Better than expected
This was better than expected… I was afraid to buy a plant that was a gift sight unseen and wondered if it going through the fast paced Amazon delivery process would leave it intact. But it was better than the last one she did have, one that she had picked out.

*UPDATED* Costa Farms stands by their products
I was so excited for this fiddle leaf plant from Costa Farms. I opened the box immediately so it wouldn't suffocate or die from lack of light, but it looked like it was boxed weeks earlier. The lower, older leaves were brown and cracked and covered in a white dust. The upper, newer leaves were limp and are barely hanging on. I repotted it, cleaned the leaves (carefully), put near a window with good indirect light and made sure the soil is not overwatered. Less than a week later the leaves are falling off and the remaining ones have brown spots. There is no way this was a fresh healthy plant that was packaged to order. I cannot recommended Costa Farms if they are not willing to replace it. ***UPDATE*** Costa Farms made good and shipped a replacement tree that is a true 4ft tree full of leaves and healthier than the previous one. Still not sure I would buy plants online again but Costa stands by their products and that earns them a 4-star review

Not a weeping willow tree, but I am weeping.- UPDATED DISAPPOINTMENT 9/29/20
On a fixed income, I saved up a dollar at a time to buy this plant. I was so happy when it arrived a few days ago. Then I noticed some odd things going on. There were "lumps" under the soil top that crunched when I tried to level it. To my surprise there were leaves tucked into the soil from above and below the soil line from the stem, that obviously had been planted that way. The leaves had red rusty spots on all but the partly decomposing tiny one. It was so far gone I couldn't tell. All these leaves, except the largest( which literally had half of it tucked into the soil below)just fell off the stem as they were discovered. The large deformed one I removed with misty eyes from what I thought needed doing per its state of disrepair. I wanted a fiddle leaf so much, what I have is half of one, nearly one-sided, with a dicey prognoses. In truth, I had to prop it up more to take pictures as it flopped over as if top heavy. I'm sad. Update 9/29/20- replacement offer was honored with a fiddle leaf I won't dare take inside to my other plants company. While the first 4 pics are of the first plant, the last 3 are of its replacement's leaves, and its smashed in box brought by fedex after 8+days in transit, even the base and planter were misshapen. If you look at the end edges of the leaves, you will see what was intended to be a HEALTY replacement for a sick first try, is further gone than the first fiddle. The whole plant was supposed to be inspected before shipping. Clearly something has been dining in gluttonous style on its leaves. Its in the trash with the first plant, I'm so over this. This isn't good business. I'm deeply disappointed and will not be doing business with Costa again. I want a refund. Full stop.

Infested soil
The tree is beautiful, green and seems to be growing healthy despite a fungus gnat infestation on the soil. Glad I finally caught it after buying sticky butterfly traps. Now in the way to treat it. But this shouldn’t happen.
