ELMERS E199 Elmer's 3D Washable Glitter Glue Pens, Classic Rainbow, Pack of 10 Pens - Great For Making Slime

These arrived in good condition and exactly as pictured. They were packaged good so that NONE of the glue pens were leaking. I've never bought any other type of glue pens before, so unfortunately I have nothing to compare them to, but I don't mind because these were very good glue sticks. I have school age children. Though we have not tried these yet for home made slim, there intended purposes were for class projects and worked PERFECTLY! These pens really made projects POP! The glue worked as expected as far as adhesiveness (they used it as actual glue a few times, even though they had PLAIN GLUE for stuff like that) and the colors were quite nice and vibrant!They never dried out on us, but we used them so fast they were never really given the chance to. I suppose if you bought them and stored them for YEARS, maybe, but the few months we used them, it was to their full extent with nothing wasted.I love these pens and there is nothing I'd change about them! They are affordable and come in a good variety of colors, bundles and styles! They are a DEFINITE MUST for any parent with a school age child, a teacher or someone running a daycare. You cannot go wrong buying these!

This Elmers glitter is so great as it's used in a plethora of ways from mixed media to straight paper projects to kids crafts.I personally have used this professionally by mixing Liquitex Gel Medium and other Liquitex effects to create many art projects even on glass and canvas. This product when mixed with professional art viscosities is no longer "washable" and that's what I need; permanance.This product is listed as "washable" meaning if you spill it ; that can be removed by washing...not "washable" as in this paint is for fabrics and thus is washable as one reviewer was speaking of. NO its NOT permanent paint...its Elmer's Glue as the base for kids and school and everyday craft projectsI buy this for 2 reasons : it's cheap and easy to adhere with the bottle tip applicators. Glitter seems to be ph neutral so it hasn't yellowed or faded over 15 yrs time on my personal/professional artistic projects. As for 3-D; it's NOT. Just glitter inside of clear glue consistency. NOT 3-D as in fabric paints or other pro-mediums of high viscosity height meaning at least 1/16 inch grade . Color is vibrant even after a decade. I LOVE this and its competitor brand and use it often. You can find this at Toys R Us and almost everywhere & that's why I like that; it's accessible when the very expensive products of the same consistency/ glitz are not available. I highly recommend this to crafters/artists/schools. 5 stars.

These have a nice fine point. They take a while to dry, so we just set my daughter's pictures on the counter over night. They dry to beautiful colors. The glitter is a little thick and wet, so it's best on a piece of cardstock. Typing paper works as well, but curls a little bit. I wish the pens had a little more in them, they ran out pretty quickly.They are washable, as they say, but it requires a bit of scrubbing if dry, so I wouldn't just go giving these to a toddler, but for my 2nd grader, they're awesome!

I got these pens for my 5 year old niece because she loves to draw and is all kinds of artistic. I knew nothing about the whole slime making thing and that isn't why i bought them. The pens are fun and the glittery glue stuff comes out on a good stream - with an occasional blob. My niece used these at first to try to draw but the ink was too thick and sticky and didn't dry. She then decorated a wooden trinket box with these and,,after the stuff dried, the box looked really cute. It does take time to dry if you plan to use these on any art project. They work well on cloth to personalize or draw on but the designs can get hard and be picked off. As far as slime goes, we have not tried these for that but apparently they are great for it. There are lots of ways to use these pens though and my niece is finding new ways every day.

These Elmer's Glitter Glue pens are a blast from the past! There's nothing that says '90s elementary school arts and crafts like glitter pens! I remember using these on felt, greeting cards, and just for fun!Now they advertise this product as great for making slime, something I've seen in a few of those trendy videos on Facebook. Indeed, by mixing the glitter glue with the white stuff, contact solution and baking soda, you make an amazingly fun and addictive activity for everyone!These pens worked perfectly and just as I remembered they did when I was in elementary school. They come in 10 different colors: red, purple, lue, orange, yellow, turquoise, silver/white, purple/blue, orange/white, and pink/white. Plenty of variety and plenty of fun, a perfect addition to holiday arts and crafts for the season and really all-year-round!

I bought this so I could have activities to do with my niece and nephew when they came to visit. We had a blast being creative with pens and creating some fun art. The kids loved the colors and the glitter and really let them use their imagination. So much better than them playing video games. These are great for fun family activities and super easy to clean up. If you're looking for some fun family friendly activities this is a great gift.
