In my RV, I have several things to power on my dash, decorative lighting, security camera, ventilation fan, usb power points, etc. But a normal multi-outlet box would keep the plugs all too close together to be useful. This 4 prong outlet extender gives me about 1 foot separation between plugs if I need it, and will bend around any direction that might be needed. A perfect solution for my needs.You would think that these molded outlets would be totally reliable, but my first one had one prong that didn't work. I asked for a return and replacement. Amazon delivered! In two days, a new one that worked perfectly, was in my hands. The return of the first one was simple, Amazon gave me a paid return label, I put it in the same bag the replacement arrived in. I dropped it off at a UPS Center, and it was received by Amazon in a few days. A very smooth process. Thank you Amazon.

I had a home theater stand with multiple enclosed sections for various components. Each enclosed section had a small hole to fit in the power cord and other cables between components. I have very little gap behind the stand from the wall.Originally, I used an extension box behind the unit and pulled out the power cord for each component through their cable holes. Replacing the components was always a problem as I had to take out the power cord for the device and replace with the new one.These cables were a savior. I just had one for each enclosure helping me connect all my components within each enclosure and made it easy for me to replace when needed.

I needed something for my outdoor Koi pond that would split 4 ways off of one sturdy outlet. My filter unfortunately takes up 2 outlets, my air pumps 1 and I wanted to run a deicer as the weather here in Ohio is “weird” lately to put it mildly. I’ve been running all 4 for over 2 weeks now and I’ve had no circuit overloads or outages. I’m really satisfied with these. Plus they are definitely thick and heavy enough to be used outside all year long.

Product says can be used outdoors but it’s not Even UL listed for any use really. SJT Cord does not have “w” meaning wet usage . Product is not UL approved for the described usage .

I have 4 digital picture frames. I put them on a surge protector. They all have wall wart type power supply/wall connectors which would not all fit on the surge protector. They draw very little power and this product allowed me to connect them all to the surge protector. This is a great use for this product. The cable itself is a little stiff but still allowed for desired placement. One of the plugs was a little tighter than the others but worked as you would expect. The only downside to the product would be it could allow someone to connect too many high current devices and overload the house circuit... Don't do that.

I got my order the next day, fantastic. You must understand where you are going to these adapters, you cannot put as 1500 watt load on each outlet. I used one to plug in several strings of LED Christmas lights. Total wattage less then 500 watts. I also have 4-grinders that I use the adapter for. Each grinder pulls about 1200 watts, so it breaks the 1500 watt limit and could be unsafe. The reason I do this is the tools can only be used by myself and I never need to use 2 grinders at the same time. One time I tried it for a test the the running unit slowed down and the starting unit would not start. so be very particular if you do this. note will at least blow a breaker.

When I bought these I hadn't really realized that they're designed to fit perfectly onto the power rails of a regular breadboard, but they do, and that's really very neat. Further, you can put 5v and 3v3 independently onto the two sides of that breadboard. There's also a power switch and power indicator LED, which makes it a very neat little package.On the down side, mine has a dry joint on one of the header pins that goes into the breadboard. Easy to fix, but doesn't inspire great confidence in the overall build quality. Still very happy with these overall.

Very well made power splitters (I call them squids and that's what I searched for on Amazon). I needed to plug several small power adapters into one outlet and these made it possible to connect several of them without blocking the other outlets on a power strip. They come in different number of splits but this 4-way was the most convenient for my purposes. It was nice they come in a 3 pack because I have used them all in different rooms in my house.
