I installed this replacement carb on an older predator 4000 generator that was not running for a year and a half. Started up on the first pull. Great product (so far). Came with new gaskets and a spark plug. Exact fit.

Carbeurator arrived quickly, well packaged. Perfect fit for my Predator 3200/4000 generator. As a matter of fact, the carb works better than the original that came on the generator. Was always hard to start in the cold. Now it starts in the first three pulls. Satisfied with the carb and seller.

I purchased this for our Predator 4000 generator. I run it twice a year when not otherwise needed but had neglected to drain the carb bowl after running it dry, leaving just enough fuel to eventually gum up the jet. I thought about rebuilding it but several videos suggested just buying a new carb due to the low price. Installation required a 10mm and an 8mm 1/4" drive socket and a pair of needlenose pliers to finesse the spring out of the butterfly. Total time was less than 30 minutes but would likely take 15 the next time. The generator would previously take several pulls to start and not run at over half-choke even when completely warmed up. With the new carburetor, it was a one pull start and runs strong with the choke all the way off. The kit includes a full set of gaskets, an inline fuel filter, new choke handle, a spark plug, and replacement fuel line with wire clamps. I kept the old carb as a spare after thoroughly cleaning it in case of emergency, just in case. This is an easy DIY with the most basic tools, no need to pay someone to do it for you. Top Tip; use only ethanol-free fuel with a stabilizer added and rotate your fuel twice a year for all your small engine appliances and lawn mowers. I keep about 25 gallons in the garage and just put it in the cars to get rid of it, then refill. With tropical storms in the summer and fall and ice storms in the winter, we do the switch in November and May to avoid the bad times of year. Very pleased with this purchase and would gladly buy again.

Didn't work well for me. I got unlucky, and the engine would run, but not well with this carb. I edited to give 4 stars because the seller refunded my money after the return window. I ended up buying an ultrasonic cleaner to clean the original carb. That worked great, and the engine is working well again.

Easy to install. Well tuned from the factory. Made my old Predator 3200/4000 generator run like new.

Perfect! Fired up with one pull! Runs like new! Clutch! Might spend a little more time tomorrow getting that inline fuel filter in a better position, but not stressing about it at all.

Installed quick. Literally started my generator on the 1st pull. I was very impressed. I've bought knock-off carburetors for my john deere mowers and they were garbage. I might buy another as a backup.
